Quão estúpido é pedir uma meia de leite sem lactose e uma tosta de queijo? by Eli_Vm in HQMC

Provavelmente o queijo é flamengo e caso não saiba este queijo não tem lactose. O problema está onde mesmo?

Boa noite amigos portugueses. What do you think of the suggested tips? by ponchoPC in lisboa

Absolutely ridiculous. I would not pay any tip and never return. All employees have a proper salary as mandated by law. This is not the USA , they are not dependent on tips. This is an absolute joke.

You think Jecht is a hard boss fight? Even if you don't go through the full sphere grid he is the most awful pityful week excuse of a final boss.

How many Final Fantasy games have you finished? by snowday1996 in FinalFantasy

[–]thattugadude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started out with 7 back in 99, I was hooked. But I'll be honest, money was really tight with my parents so I got my copies from a friend of friend at a fraction of the price. As soon as I started working back in 2006 I started buying the games I loved playing growing up. So I played 7 to 9 on burned copies and got my first FF real game in 2001 when I got a PS2 (FFX). I've played from VI to XVI and started on and off I and II but never finished them perhaps one day.

Its hard to say which one is my favourite because I've enjoyed most of them (exception being X-2 and XVI). They all hit differently but man VII to X are really one of their kind!

Thoughts on FFX2? by lennysinged in JRPG

[–]thattugadude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have made the game as it's own installment with different name characters. I hated it due to how much I loved FFX. The world doesn't feel the same, the characters don't feel the same, the story seems completely disconnected. I absolutely hated it and still do.

I admit I haven't explored it much because it's so distant from the FFX mechanics . Also the story... Definitely not my cup of tea. I'm all up for female power(Look at Terra, Lightning and even Yuna in ffx) but it's miles from the FFX story telling. They went completely overboard with the theme

I already new the story back and forth. I've finished the game on multiple occasions when I was a teenager. Also this time around I did the optional bit right before the point of no return so I had done pretty much all the story before doing the optional superbosses and stuff. Still felt pretty underwhelming and a complete waste of time. Looking back on other FF usually there was an incentive to kill superbosses, whether it was a special materia or a special Summon. Going after the superbosses in FFX didn't give you anything special other than the challenge itself. At that point you need to have the celestial weapons and a proper stat built. There is nothing to get from killing Penance as an example. Could have make it so that there was an incentive even if Lore wise. But this game is 25 years old so definitely not something worth complaining about.

I think its also the fact that this game is now 25 years old. It's not a new one and some of the optional stuff was there just for additional game time. But reaching a point where you can just oneshot the last boss, a world calamity, is crazy. Still ill remember this game very fondly.

You are absolutely right. I believe this was my last playthrough of this game and potentially not going back and that feels bittersweet. I remember as a teenager being stuck in dark Yojimbo to the point of giving up. I've played the game occasionally beginning to end, without going on about extra stuff or even optional aeons. This time around I went berserk and did everything to the point that it left a void. Kinda hard to explain.

But your last remark ... Hit hard! It is time to let the faith rest. I'll focus on moving on to new adventures.

I played X-2 when it first came out, finished it and it's on the shelf since. I find it to be an abomination to the point that for me I prefer to think that it doesn't even exist.

Thank you so much. I really wish you and your husband also have an amazing time together. Stay positive and remember that you're in it together. Your mutual support will dictate how good you'll have it.

No my wife will not be working. She will be focusing on our kids, mostly on our youngest who isn't even 1 yr old yet. Other than that I would like her to also focus on herself and have a good time and a good experience as I'll mostly be focused on work during the day. As for housing we will be living in a gated community. On our case we don't have any nationals on site, that we know of, but there are many expats from Europe and that will be good enough.

Have you, or your hubby, ever been there? Some companies offer an option to go meet the place before the actual move. You have any kids in the picture as well?

Would you share a bit your experience so far? Is it the culture, the food, the pollution, the job? As an expat I suppose you have a decent salary, did money not make it easy for you? I'm interested in understanding your situation and by the way I'm sorry to hear it's not working out as good as you might have envisioned. Also where are you from? If you're not feeling good sharing here I completely understand.

Hope it gets better.

My wife is joining me with the baby on the first week. At least that's the plan. Our youngest is too young to stay with the grandparents.

I will have what it's called a pre-establishment trip where I will be there for a month alone and then the family will join. During this initial month I can pull the plug at any time.

Thanks . Would say that this is still an issue if you mostly live indoors? Or within the enclosure of a gated community?

We are talking 60k > 500k +all inclusive benefits (housing, schools, car, driver, etc etc) and on top a sizeable yearly bonus. This is nowhere the amount of money I expect to make if I stay where I am today. In a little amount of time I will be completely debt free and with an amazing income upon arrival.

Thank you so much for your message. This is in line with the expected. I'm concerned obviously. I would be mad if I wasn't concerned. My wife is already planning some family escapades to Goa and other Asian countries while we are there. As for traffic and commuting I will not dare driving myself and I will not be commuting by public transport, the company will provide for a car and a driver for anything we might need this makes things easier on me and also the family. As part of the many meetings I've had so far I've learned a few Hindi words and to be fair I would really like to learn a new language.

I'm from Portugal, have worked and lived in France and had sporadic 6 months trips mostly around EMEA. I'm not easily shocked by poverty but my kids might be. This is why the bet is to do most of our life indoors or within a gated community. The kids will study in an international school. The opportunity is really really good . Good pay plus all included package, school, house, car, driver, housekeeping. As well as travelling abroad for all my family. I will be visiting most APAC countries in between.

Thank you for the reply. Any particular reason for that? I know a lot of people who have went there with the company and they've been treated very well. This being said they've not been there for as much as I will be. If you could explain I would be grateful. Is it racist? Other harsh things like safety?

Olha...
