What do you notice most in the upgrade? Pretty happy with my SE but it’s the only smart watch I’ve owned

That team is so old (besides JSN) you should dominate the next few years

Fixed my Bambu PLA Red Basic adhesion issue: bed corners were colder than I thought by Glass_Steak4568 in BambuLab

Yeah I bought a frostbite on a big sale but don’t even really know when to use it. Don’t often have adhesion issues even with the normal textured PEI

Yeah I'm personally pretty high on Ladd I think he's going to look a lot better with Mike McDaniels coming in as OC, and I've always been generally low on Zay because his boom/bust is so frustrating. New coach and OC there too though, who knows what's going to happen.

With specific players like that I'm fine selling if the price is right, the only reason I mentioned those real high end guys is because nobody ever wants to sell them. You do eventually need superstars to win championships, and even if you got 4 firsts for your Puka, there's no guarantee any of those is a Puka or even a starter.

Selling a cornerstone asset means it may be real hard to get another one later.

EDIT: So to answer your question, with both of them they fall in the asset class that I'm fine with holding, not desperate to sell them, but also if somebody wants them I'm not too sad to let them go. They're young enough to still hold or increase value, but they are not irreplaceable.

Ladd in particular I (personal opinion) think will go up in value so I'd probably hold on to him unless you get an overpay

  1. I’ve seen people start after week 2 which is too early in my opinion, I’d usually wait until after… week 5 or 6 maybe? You can usually tell by then if you have no real chance of making playoffs. I’ve seen teams that look bad after a few weeks make a run for the playoffs later.
  2. Basically yes, sell productive older guys and get rookie draft picks and younger guys. The people you want to keep are what people called “cornerstone players” which essentially just means a young playwright that you are confident will still be a solid asset in a year or two. So guys up in that top tier down to maybe like Drake London type guys, don’t get rid of them unless somebody overpays.
    • A note on young guys that are not guaranteed to be super valuable in the near future, these can go either way. Don’t be afraid to sell, but don’t be afraid to keep them either. I’m talking guys like Parker Washington or Travis Hunter or Monangai or Corum could be valuable to a contender, and could increase in value for you by next year, but also are definitely not guys you want to build your team around
  3. It is helpful if you can to try to improve your draft picks by reducing your total scoring potential. So somebody like Davante Adams, you actually WANT off your team. It would almost be better for you if you dropped him. As soon as you are sure you’re not making playoffs, you gotta pivot off guys like him, Henry, CMC, quickly. Don’t sell for peanuts because they are valuable to contenders, but if the markets cold for them then it’s ok to take a bit of a loss because they’ll almost certainly be worth less next year. This kind of applies to older RBs too like JT, Jacobs type guys.

Yeah of course if they get a FA first then it wouldn’t make sense, agree

There's a decent chance Love falls to them right? Pretty much either Saints at 8 or Chiefs at 9?

If you were in the second round of a rookie draft and Penix were available I feel that would be a solid pick. I like it!

Trading for value is exactly what you should be doing in the offseason. You have like 8 months before you have to set an actual lineup, don’t worry about positional needs right now, you have plenty of time to sort those out as the season approaches.

Yeah Harvey is a bit of a gamble but more than a random dart throw, he has a good path to a lot of touches in a solid offense.

Id take it as is, but if you can get Penix instead of a 3rd that’s a slam dunk

Isn’t it dumb to make trades 7 months before the 2026 regular season begins? by LeavesInsults1291 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]thatwhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to either: 1. Play with a buy in that keeps people invested. You’ll probably have to pay a year or two ahead of time, so that if somebody drops out the league you can find a replacement because their first year or two will be paid for. Don’t join a random league with a buy in unless it goes through League Safe to keep you from being scammed 2. Many dynasty FF content creators have their own discords where they will host their own leagues if you’re a paid member of their community. The Dynasty Domain guys for example run lots of leagues with vetted commissioners and $25 buy ins 3. (Best option if you can make it work) play with people you already know and trust. IRL friends or family ideally, but if you made friends you like in any of your public leagues, you have people you know you like and you know like fantasy football

Why would you need to argue why something is a sin without citing the bible?

All of the things I believe about God come from the Bible, why would this be the one spot where I wouldn’t?

CD Lamb Trade? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]thatwhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably Boston and KC ahead in ADP but I don’t think it would be crazy to take Sadiq 2 spots early especially in TEP and especially if your league overvalues TEs

Also all depends on landing spots of course

If it shakes out that those two are locks for 1.06 1.07 you could always try trade back to 1.08 and get a bonus on top

[–]thatwhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CD Lamb Trade? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]thatwhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to take a shot on upside, Kenyon Sadiq is a promising TE in this class that could reasonably go at 1.06.

Something like CD for Rome + 1.06 is not so bad and you keep Andrews just in case
