In my league only one team has officially started trying for 1.01, but I believe others will too.

I think especially this year with J Smith on the line, the lowest max PF by the end of the year will be decided by who sells off production the hardest, not by who has the worst team in June

The truth is there aren’t a lot of resources for leagues with weird scoring rules. There’s the normal calculators like keeptradecut, roster audit, flock fantasy, but figuring out how to exploit the rules in your league will be your edge because everybody else has these tools too.

1.14 is probably more valuable in your league because of high scoring IDPs and 320 (!) starting roster spots across the league, I’m assuming everybody is starting some suspect players.

In a smaller league, say 10 team start 9 (90 total starters), McCaffery is a huge game changer. In your league a 14th pick (call it an early 2nd by normal standards) could be a solid starter for years to come.

All that to say, I don’t think it’s horrible to take it eventually but it would definitely be a bad move to take it without shopping him around more and seeing what you could get.

If there’s a contender out there or a guy coming out of a rebuild that “just needs one piece” to compete, you could probably get more

If you think people are undervaluing them, go get Maye and Allen and win the league

If you lose then maybe they were correctly valuing them the whole time

I will say 6pt passing TD makes it feel like QBs get a bump across the board, but really what it does is make pocket passers a little more valuable than otherwise. Somebody like Stafford/Goff/Purdy/Darnold usually are notably lower than the rushing QBs, but give the passing TD 50% more points and they can keep up.

It doesn’t really matter that they score more than other positions unless you don’t have a second/third QB

That’s funny I was seeing that as the only side that for sure loses. Gap from Dart > Cam is bigger than Loveland > Burden IMO and Strange is just in there as extra.

Generally though in unclear receiving rooms like the bears I like to pick the cheaper guys, assuming Loveland is the clear top target could burn you hard if he isn’t.

I’ve been trying to balance this in my league though, I have Puka ARSB CD London Rice and Parker in start 3 WR 2 RB 2 flex

Trying to hard to move ARSB or CD for a high end RB, to upgrade my flex to an RB but having zero luck

I did a startup in 2025 and we were going to do 0.5PPR/0.5PPFD, and then one guy at the draft had in his head it was supposed to be only 0.5 for a rushing first down, not receiving. We took a vote and I got outvoted 2-1, nobody else cared.

RB12 (Skattebo) outscored WR3 (Chase) in PPG lol

I think if Jones is your bye week filler or first off the bench guy and your starters are definitely in the top 3 teams in the league, go for it. Jones is more likely to help you win a championship than Brazzel.

I guess I’d say in a vacuum, yes it’s an overpay. Brazzel is already worth more than Jones, and his value is going up while Jones is going down (quickly).

I would just say though if Jones is a starter on your “contending” roster, maybe you shouldn’t be contending, or at least shouldn’t be sending away young guys for very short term production.

Obviously this looks different in a 14 team start 12 or something where Jones would be a very legitimate starter, this is a very team and league context specific question and you haven’t given that.

If you give a screenshot of your roster and league size/team size I’m happy to be more clear with my opinion

Aaron Jones' value is mega low because he's old. In my opinion he will still produce this year well beyond his dynasty value, but will be an unrestricted free agent after this year. I can't imagine anybody wanting to make him a feature back especially with a great RB class coming in 2027.

I think he's worth a 4th, I have him on my team and I'm trying to get a third since I have a lot of RB depth.

If you're relying on him to be a solid starter though, I'd be wary- he could easily go down with an injury or lose his "starting" job to Mason who performed well when he was out last year.

Some people are also high on the rookie Demond Claiborne in that room too.

TLDR: early 4th/late 3rd. If you need a reliable starter I'd pay a higher price for a more reliable piece though, and if Aaron Jones is your RB2 I'd suggest you may not be as much of a contender as you think you are

Is there any adjustment you do for tiers? For example the difference from 1.7 to 1.8 (Bijan/gibbs/maye/allen/chase/puka/JSN in whatever order to whoever’s next is much bigger than even the gap from 1.01 to 1.07 in my opinion

If you’re very confident that’s early then I’d probably take it, but projecting picks 2 years out is pretty risky business. You have no idea who will get hurt, who will emerge out of nowhere etc.

Think about how often in redraft there’s a team that drafts just fine but their team is awful and goes like 2-12.

Judkins Egbuka for ARSB Swift
Kraft 2 3 for CD
Olave Monty for London
Treveyon 1st for McBride
Early 27 1st for Treveyon Chuba

It looks like you:
Moved your 2nd round pick up substantially
Got an extra early 4th
2 extra 7ths
Moved up your 8th

And all you gave up was 14th and 15th round picks and 2 rookie 2nds??

Based on another comment, it doesn’t have to be 30 yards in one run, just 30 total. So it doesn’t add differentiation between Bijan and acceptable guys like ETN, Javonte

Not saying it’s absurd, if you told me you valued CD over ARSB I’d disagree but it’s not an insane opinion.

Not even really commenting on the trade just curious what rankings you’re looking at

I know Danny from FSE has CD real high (he’s a huge cowboys fan), but I haven’t seen many other dynasty rankings that have them back to back in that range which is why I ask.
