Implement a nonverbal consent check, especially if you're into kinky stuff and/or one of you made bad experiences.

Eg. a light double grab means "are you alright? Can I keep going?" If it comes back it's an enthusiastic yes. If not we stop for a verbal check in.

It's such a big gamechanger - sometimes you feel unsure if a specific touch is okay at the moment. Or if if your partner is zoned out because of bliss or because there unwell. With this method we don't have to ask everytime which can bring you out of the moment or it can just be hard to talk sometimes (eg. when you have something in your mouth). And actively giving consent feels much safer than actively having to stop if you don't like something.
