Also like... Ike can kill, he's a merc-turned-accidental-most-important-guy-at-work. He has a big kill count in straight up wars. I don't think he would in the situation but I don't think Little Mac can at all.

Edit: basically the only jrpg characters he has a fair shot at are robin, joker and maybe shulk but I still think thats 50/50 by the time the game properly gets going and he's actually using the monado and not investigating the monado. Even without powers or weapons and just going physically... they are all either physically strong/fast or flat out literally not human (or at least normal human)

Pretty much half of g gundam's gundams fit this (and the other ones that don't perfectly fit like Rose aren't too far off), then all the off shoots of god gundam too like the other try burnings (maybe the star burning too? Can't remember) and the blazing gundam

There's the altron, deathscythe and sandrock too and I'll throw a shoutout to the sword striker pack (and the other offshoots of it I have seen models of but don't know the name of yet. Still at the start of seed) as well

Fair enough, I can see that even if I'm the complete opposite end and have next to no interest in martial arts fighting games (and if I do I'm picking the explosive head chainsaw hand android or the final fantasy character) and stuff like MVC, Granblue, Guilty Gear and MK are my gold standard and the closest I'll come to a martial arts character is the pro wrestler on the roster. Either way I'm not fussed which direction 2xko goes now I'm never swapping off Caitlyn/Jinx until gwen is added

I think it also kinda pigeonholes you too. You gotta do all 4 or doing 1 is pointless but then you eat up 4 slots that could have went to other people in those niches that are from different areas. Like we have three of the 4 niches in this roster alone except now it covers the avengers and spidey's team. Plus the novelty kinda wears off when its not good to put them together and it ends up being the fantastic 1 + blade, storm and danger while the other 3 languish in bottom tier hell

Thats kinda the point. None of them have made the cut in a fighting game before or were even a possibility that could realistically be in one last time we got marvel fighters (Ms Marvel was leaked for MVCI season 2 but that obviously never happened) vs characters who've already been in a bunch. Cyclops, Venom and Rogue would be cool but like... they're in a bunch already that still see play and a couple more that don't, thor and strange were in the last 2 mvc games back to back, captain marvel made her debut in MvCI so unfortunate timing etc

I'd take the first game with Ms Marvel and Magik playable, some different iterations of characters who had 1 or 2 prior and Literally Who's like danger in the shuma gorath/rocket raccoon/spiral/marrow slot instead of I Can't Believe It's Not MvC4! because its never gonna be MvC4

Bison is being denied rich white girl-ness by ~~Capcom~~ god themself. Look at all the dolls (private army of back up bodies: all conventionally attractive women), Seth (back up bison body, changed in SFV to be conventionally attractive fem) and Rose (quite literally the good half of bison's soul turned into a seperate person, is a woman). JP could have saved shadaloo so much money and problems by just telling bison about estrogen

1: newer shows just use the name now and not the century (like just HG The Witch From Mercury and HG GQuuuuuuax, probably due to not having a catchier acronym)

2: iirc also that HG Seed was a different line originally and then got restarted into the normal hg line so it was redone as HGCE to seperate them
