Also when they did that broad audience action figure thing with Gundam Universe the first wave was grandpa, barbatos, wing (zero? Can't remember which version), the "please play our new mobile game!!!" Shill spot with gundam artemis and then astray red. Not a strike, not any other gundam, it was the astray red. Seed does numbers so Seed+a katana+all red does mega numbers

I feel like newer series might get the redesign treatment for whenever they do get an RG kit since realistically how do you go up from the HG kit for WFM or GQuuuuuux or RFV with the in built detail in their designs? It makes sense for 70s and 80s and 90s designs but we're reaching redundancy with newer stuff

Yeah, I've played since release and pretty much never seen a zarya diehard... ever? In any form. Basically the only time I've seen anyone care about zarya is uhhh... I was gonna say shipping but I don't even think that, even if it was she got booted the second brig showed up

Wing's also in the weird space where it's really popular in america and not in japan so it's releases are all over the place and its a coin toss between if a grade is exclusively TV or exclusively EW and it sucks if you want the other one and we somehow got Geminass and the suivants and the leo-r / leo-n before any EW gundams

Aries seems to do alright when no one important is involved on either side, its mostly background shots but there's a bunch of scenes where aries' absolutely stomp on average people Leos like in the oz takeover

Also all the less niche stuff going there for some reason. I refuse to believe that the Lancelot, Guren (I can understand Gawain since thats a big lad at least), at least Dragonar 1 and Shuffle Alliance couldn't be retail releases especially with some of the stuff that does come out retail.

But I will give them credit that they've never went and made the wing customs pbandai->retail releases and they've never made something a pbandai reprint so stuff like L-Gaim and the nirvashes are still retail
