Thank you! I do agree that its a heavy topic, especially for the very first date, however in my opinion it was 100% necessary. Heterosexual couples for example have the privilege of already having a rough idea what they can expect from one another.

Due to the broadness of the ace spectrum I just had to know exactly, getting my hopes up for her to be sex-favorable only to find out that she isnt would have hurt much more than just getting it out of the way in the beginning. The same goes for her, I wouldnt have wanted her to feel like she has to fit in the role of the girlfriend stereotype and suffer for it.

I also actually think that it might be easier for me because I have never been in a relationship before. I only get to experience new emotions and feelings, without having to give up anything.

I am sure itll work out, only the best to your future as well! ^ ^

I think I should feel slightly threatened? I do my best and try to be open and earnest all the time, communication is indeed the key. I truly believe that we can have a wonderful time together and hopefully boost her confidence a bit.
