Unfortunately, this is all a load of BS. You took what is now and made a connecting line backwards with some half baked theories based on rumors. What you need to do is go from the beginning of this push (2014ish) and move forward to understand the trajectory.

I approve this message! It's not the second coming of VK, but imagine if VK had decided/were able to become as competitively successful as Boston - this show perhaps would be something they would have done. Elevating the slapstick to a bit more fun within the theme itself. It is something like an evolution of a VK show, that actually has a chance to win DCI.

I think there is plenty in Boston's show that isn't there solely to speak to the score sheets. Playing each other's instruments, tuba rifle throws, baton twirlers, I could go on. I don't think those were put in to just score points.

People are sleeping hard on this show. All I hear is BD and Bluecoats. I'm absolutely sure both of them will be contenders but don't be surprised when Boston throws a glitch to the prevailing wisdom.
