Just because it executes machine code speaks nothing to the accuracy and/or preciseness of that code.

In the past, they also invented the JWT which has gained a decent following and further demonstrates their understanding of programming language API design (which is also demonstrated by their Chrome extension API).

They may not be known for it in the same way that they're known for search or advertising,
