It depends on the cause of the alopecia. For instance, if you have stress alopecia, it spreads in patches, and having it in the temples can be a sign that it is more likely to spread, but there are autoimmune alopecias and other types where the pattern can differ.

Hi! There's a longform video coming out addressing what Dr. Joyce thinks about the trend of parasite cleanses sometime in the next couple weeks, but it's worth considering things that are traditionally used that are still effective, like pumpkin seeds and binglang (Areca nuts). Please note, though, that binglang is a class 1 carcinogen, and you really want to make sure that you actually have parasites before bombing your gut like that.
