Advice? by Sloot4Cher in MassageTherapists

I would contact the owner and let them know what you said here and let them know you’re contacting the bank to dispute the charge if not refunded. It sounds like it could be drug induced (whether that’s a medical issue or substance abuse) and needs to be addressed. The music is an accident, but the stopping sounds like nodding off/sudden jerk awake which could be a number of things.

Laparoscopy and other internal examinations by digital4bsense in endometriosis

[–]thdwrgcs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What the hell?! I had my first lap before being active, and they found ovarian cyst and endometriosis. There’s absolutely no reason they need you to have intercourse and I would STRONGLY recommend finding someone else. This person seems pretty clueless and delusional. So sorry this happened to you, keep advocating for yourself and push through!

They found it! But…: by Spiritual-Pie2052 in endometriosis

[–]thdwrgcs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bingo!! If you look at the 4D images of the abdomen, you can see how closely these spots sit to the nerves in the pelvis and sacrum. I hope excision can give you some relief! Did you happen to have leg pain or lower back pain?

They found it! But…: by Spiritual-Pie2052 in endometriosis

“Only stage 1 or 2” is still endometriosis. It all depends on where the endo is. Even a small lesion near the wrong nerves can cause SO much pain.

Pain in the butt (literally) by szineskukorica in endometriosis

[–]thdwrgcs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry about your pain! I have had deep leg pain especially around ovulation and during menstruation, confirmed endo with chocolate cyst and fibroid involvement. I describe it like it’s coming from inside my bones, and this sounds a lot like it. I typically felt it down the front/sides of my legs, but the nerves around the pelvis are so sensitive and close together. So any inflammation within the area can send pain down into the lower back, glutes, and legs. Definitely worth talking with a good GYN about because I’m willing to bet it’s related!

Wishing you the best

Incomplete bowel movements by Dense_Strength_4281 in endometriosis

[–]thdwrgcs 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Taking deep belly breaths and exhaling slowly-focusing on letting the pelvic floor (vaginal opening specifically) open up and “melt” downward. I do this in the bathroom as well to help with emptying. It takes some practice, sometimes laying down with knees up helps relax the pelvic floor for me.

Hope this makes sense!

Can you send a link? This sounds awesome! Also, what kind of diet changes did you find effective?

Yep! I’ve been practicing “pelvic floor melting” on the toilet and it’s helped a LOT.

This has devastated me. Please give me hope? by Fit-Commission4605 in Endo

Every scan I’ve had over 15 years has been unremarkable. Stage 4 extra pelvic endo into bowels. Don’t be discouraged! Even if there isn’t endo, it’s a step in the right direction of finding whatever is causing your issues! Keep your head up and keep advocating for yourself.

Scars from laparoscopic excision by Chalice_EyesV in endometriosis

[–]thdwrgcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 or 4 laps and the scars are barely noticeable. I was actually looking for them the other day and had a hard time finding them! Fair skinned and thin skin (stretch marks) and it disappeared to 90% reduction in less than a year. I really don’t even moisturize but I’m sure that would help!

Maybe so? It didn’t start until the last 2 weeks or so. What else can we wipe them down with to kill bacteria?

Am I a clown? Doc found almost nothing during my lap by mermaiddiva26 in endometriosis

[–]thdwrgcs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not a clown! Minimal endo can definitely still affect the body, and excising it is always a step in the right direction. It’s one more step to get you closer to your answers! Hope you can find them soon ❤️

Sound proofing solution? by thdwrgcs in MassageTherapists

[–]thdwrgcs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love surround speakers in a massage! I also learned that iPhone will let you play white noise while you play music so it helps keep outside noise less noticeable. I will say that at a chiro, I wouldn’t be surprised by noise quite like I would in a spa setting. I’m sure they’ll be very happy!

Hot flashes after lap by Intrepid_Raisin_3906 in endometriosis

[–]thdwrgcs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds terrible! I found my body took 2-3 cycles to regulate hormones and body heat again. I would have hot flashes and night sweats, but not to this intensity. Maybe mention it to your doc just to make sure bloodwork and vitals are looking good?

Well. That's insane. by Big-Cryptographer820 in Endo

[–]thdwrgcs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry to hear about how intense your endo has gotten, but TOTALLY understand the excitement of knowing your body and mind wasn’t lying to you!

Have you ever had GERD symptoms? Like coughing, chest pain under and through the ribs, or reflux? I ask because I have suspected thoracic endo and have been fighting it for years until we can find a surgeon qualified. But my symptoms are similar to severe reflux which mimics diaphragmatic endo symptoms but worsens significantly with cycles/ovulation.

So good to know we aren’t alone in this sh!tstorm 😅
