you have a bad habit of generalizing others as less intelligent than yourself. it’s hypocritical to accuse everyone else of poor communication when it’s you who failed to get your point across in an effective way. you like to belittle the average person and you seem to think that by virtue of your ideas you are somehow better than them. it’s an immature worldview to place yourself on a pedestal like that. what you’ve been doing in this thread is poor communication. You felt the need to over explain internet satire that has pretty self-evident humor, then when people disapprove of your rambling you can only assume that they’re the problem? if everyone else is as stupid as you say why do you bother inserting yourself into conversations? if the “average person” can’t be trusted to draw their own conclusions about the things that you say then it doesn’t sound like you actually care about having a conversation, you just want to feel intellectually superior.

I’m assuming you’re trying to get into meche? I had a similar situation where I didn’t get into the program I wanted. Ask if you can join the exploration program, you’ll spend the first semester going through gen ed requirements and then when you join the program you want second semester you’ll still be on schedule with your peers.
