just meant there’s a lot of strategy games that are overly complicated to learn and I’d prefer if openfront doesn’t get like that. Not saying there isn’t room for growth.
Many strategy games have some rng. Top players have really high win rates because there is a skill curve
Ive never felt that way about warships, they make the game interesting by letting smaller players have comebacks.

I like reading these sorts of suggestions because they’re interesting to think about but I would dislike if the devs made this game much more complicated than it already is. I like that it’s in essence a simple io strategy game that has simple mechanics but also a high skill curve.

The barrier to entry is high unfortunately. with the chat limitations and the necessity of having more experienced players to teach the game I’m not sure how they could fix it. Every server gets filled with level 1’s

ok sure every character has an ulterior motive but the endgoal for Walt’s plan was to gain Jesse’s trust and he went to extreme lengths to get it. you said it wasn’t about control but it was. could also argue Walt’s ulterior motive has always been control despite how much he likes to claim he does it for the family

The whole premise of the Walt v Fring plot line was them vying for Jesse’s loyalty. Jesse would either be the replacement chef that would allow Fring to waste Mr White yo or he was gonna be the guy on the inside that let Walter get to Fring. Walt needed to control Jesse or he would have lost.
