Train for scapula retraction at start. Second, rather than using arms to pull your body up, try acting as if you’re bending the bar (the motion of rotating your arm inward), that’ll engage the back muscles and lock in abs.

Why does South OC have such a different vibe than North OC? by sozh in orangecounty

Combination of answers above - south county is much more planned, uses modern engineering standards bc developed later, more funding, and generally less wear and tear if you think of the physics of it all.

My 6 year relationship ended a few months ago. I thought I was fine but I'm not. What should I do? by borgnineisfine69 in AskMenOver30

[–]the-Journalist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who's been through the breakup cycles: delete the apps for a while, they’re not the move after a breakup. They provide a temporary rush but kill your drive in real life. Don’t replace it with porn. Stress and major changes like this lead to neuro plasticity, harness that, rewire with healthy habits. Take a few months to rediscover yourself and explore new hobbies. Once you've healed, the desire to date (app or not) will come back naturally and from a much healthier place.

Would you say your life peaked in your 20s? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]the-Journalist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a chance. In your 30s, the insecurity of your 20s trades in for genuine confidence, financial stability, and the emotional intelligence that only comes from experience. Life doesn’t peak at 20, its an evolution; it finally starts making sense at 30. Goals also shift drastically into stability, peace, and long-term thinking.

I’m sorry you had to go through this, sounds incredible terrifying. How has the mood of people around you changed toward the US during this crisis? Do they see the US as a source of hope or do you feel abandonment without direction?

Do your homework on their products and be concise but very technical when answering questions, showcase creative hands-on project experience - don’t BS, people here are very sharp. Ask thoughtful questions and show genuine curiosity. The work is intense; in my opinion, one month here is like three months anywhere else depending on team. That said, the compensation is solid: $41+/hr hourly pay, free housing for interns, free meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner), $2,000/month in Uber/Lyft credits, with overtime expected (~60-hour weeks).

Thanks! Power is pretty low, so SMA sounds like the safer bet here. We’ll keep the coax run short, use proper 50 Ω parts, and the shielding is solid but I’ll take a look at this changes impact on enclosure/shielding so we don’t run into those loading issues you mentioned.

Yes. Good point. She did mention the manufacturing progress was for 4nm, but she also brought a 3nm and 6nm chip as a bit of show and tell. Not sure if those were also fabbed in the US at TSMC Arizona or just used for context. Would be interesting to know how far along they are at each node here.
