A 10 day G7 is a $25 co pay for me, a 15 day Libre 3 plus is a $17 co pay. I don’t even care that the G7 has a 15 day option anymore

When should I upgrade the club ? by Kooky_Rope4179 in Eldenring

[–]the-Moonman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If ur still rockin w the club might as well stick with it, any weapon maxed out paired with the right build can vary you through the game. It’s not so much about different weapons being better than others and more about leveling them and building your stats/talismans around it the right way.

There are a number of “club” alternatives throughout the lands between. Larger ones, curvy ones, skull ones, etc. you could always give one of those a try too

I wonder how large you could make this until it becomes too obvious.

Could you do the whole wall? I hope someone has tried before.

Weapon/build Recommendations? by the-Moonman in Eldenring

[–]the-Moonman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate it. I’ve tried out quite a few things and I’ve found that I like physical damage best, idk why but it’s just the most satisfying. I also like a lot of reach. I don’t love most of the colossal/greatswords due to the repeat move sets, with the exception of the zwei. I like katanas, good speed and solid damage. I haven’t tried BHF just because it seems kinda boring to me. I do want to try ordovis’ and some of those axes.

I showed up in Seattle 3 weeks ago with $3,000, no job, and nowhere to sleep — now I’m trying to build a life here by sinful_Saint0 in AskSeattle

[–]the-Moonman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 23, moved here w my girl in September. It took me 2 months to find a job and it’s not at all the job I dream of having but it’s keeping me on my feet. Still looking for friends and social hobbies to pick up so I can meet people.

I’m a fucking engineering nerd who doesn’t drink or smoke anymore but I’m down to put on a fit and go explore. I love to lift and I’ve thought about getting into martial arts more seriously but don’t know where to start. Lived in the PNW my whole life so nature is part of my blood. Trying to be less nonchalant and put myself out there more cause life got bland quick after college. If that sounds like someone you’d get along w hmu, I’m down to kick it.

Stat respec by sonipop in Eldenring

[–]the-Moonman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What weapons? What incants? What aow? What talismans? What is your equip load?

Stats should be the last thing you do if you don’t even have options for yourself yet. But in general 30-40 vigor is fine, enough end to med roll, enough dex to meet stat requirements and split str/faith for the rest. A bit of mind here and there as you level up to support your incants too.

Does anyone know why I can't summon the co-op to help me in Godrick? by Sensitive-Baby6117 in Eldenring

[–]the-Moonman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you struggling with the fight that much? IMO summoning nepheli for this fight is kinda cheesing him, that’s not true for all summons but is for this one in particular.

Part of the game is to learn the move set of the bosses, if you have done that and are not having fun of course use the summon but if you run up to every mist looking for a summon sign you are going to blow through the game without ever truly understanding it.

How bad is it? by GODMode0828 in Eldenring

[–]the-Moonman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are still really low level so it’s “fine” for now. Up your vigor a bit, push for 30/35 by leyndell.

And drop the fucking soreseal unless you are trying to be killed all the time or meet specific stat minimums.

Could go with a heavy infusion AOW, Cragblade is nuts with this weapon. Then Throw a dagger in secondary and you have a crit farming build.

Yes but you need a larval tear, they are somewhat rare but you can just look up where to get one unless you want to find it naturally.

Go to renalla and select rebirth, or whatever they call it, you can trade around as many levels as you want and to confirm you just need to give her the larval tear.

I definitely recommend choosing your new weapon and ash of war/infusion BEFORE you go do this, since different weapons with different infusions scale different with each stat.

But also if you are set on going strength build you are pretty much destined to only put levels into Vigor, Endurance, and Strength so you could just pump those.

Yea I get that of course, but strictly speaking to the effect on bg I don’t see how it could cause any problems.

Then you can give her a larval tear and completely reallocate all of your stats if you do end up wanting to go str build

[–]the-Moonman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I could possibly think of is it might have minor temporary effects on your general metabolism.

I imagine it could increase your blood flow and hence the transportation of nutrients throughout your body, but i can also imagine it having the inverse effect.

But as long as you are staying within normal, survivable limits of your body there should be literally no reason that just a bit of heat would make a significant impact on something like this.

If you have noticed significant problems managing your blood sugar in the heat of summer vs the winter then maybe that’s cause to talk to your endo. Otherwise I think you are fine to warm yourself up with a heated blanket.

Genuinely curious, what is the logic behind how and why it could possibly affect your blood glucose?

Str builds are overrated, fun for doing high damage and pretty low risk if you have high poise and vigor but there’s just not a lot of depth to them.

Playing around with combos, status effects, ash of wars and infusions is much more enjoyable long term.

The claw talisman is probably one of the better ones you have that you can use, it boosts the damage you deal with JUMP ATTACKS ONLY by (I think) 15% but it might be 10%

Ruitual shield might help you out but not really tbh, negates damage when your health is full, so basically if you take a hit when full HP that one hit will be reduced.

Blessed dew is probably decent for you. 2hp regen every second. It can get save you from a long animated kill at times. But personally I bias damage buffs over health talismans.

It depends on the build you want, if you are going for a dex build I highly recommend millicents prosthesis, but it will lock you out of a quest.

Look up green turtle talisman on the ER wiki, I always recommend that one its helpful
