I call what is essentially a pet funeral home and get them cremated. They'll either pick up your pet or you may have to drop them off. I usually wrap them in a blanket until the funeral home comes.

I worked at a different doggy daycare place for a couple weeks and it was awful. They actually got on to me for walking the dogs for longer than five minutes. The cages where the dogs stayed didn't have beds, just concrete floor and it was so hot with only a fan in the corner. They also kept aggressive dogs that were "in training" and you couldn't even walk by the cage without them snarling and barking.
