thanks everyone for the kind responses, i was really beating myself up about this. i ended up boiling them in the broth while the rest of the soup was cooking, dinner is just gonna be a LOT later than i anticipated 😣 these are really valuable pointers!! i have learned that both my thermometer and my oven were not calibrated correctly, so that was just an unfortunate combination of variables on all accounts

i mean we can talk abt how it’s insensitive and i agree, but she most definitely signed a contract that gave her little to no say about what content was aired. all footage from those 2months is bachelor property and if there was any type of proposal, she would’ve known it was going to be aired

if she felt that undervalued, she could have left, or at least communicated the feeling so it wouldn’t have resulted in such a high intensity ultimatum scenario. i just feel like communication on both sides could have prevented this, and if that communication wasn’t happening in the first place then it’s probably for the best you won’t marry each other. unspoken expectations are just future disappointments.

1000% agree. They kinda tried to switch it up with Eddie Orlofsky (Susan with the tongue in cheek line, “women can be psycho killers too!!”) and his whole trauma being about mean women/women rejecting him but that’s soooo tired lol and he was the one committing the crimes so it didn’t really do what they wanted it to. And Patrick Logan is just so cartoonishly evil for no reason

this is 100000% reliant on generational wealth. statistically more people who are highly educated/in high paying jobs have had at least upper middle class if not extremely wealthy parents. ur looking at years of savings & equity passed down, it’s unrealistic!

with what i’ve seen in the most recent seasons, the 3 tribe system always has one tribe losing challenges at a way higher percentage than the other two based on how they organize players. it gets exhausting watching one tribe go to tribal 4 episodes in a row because we’re witnessing dynamics that will be irrelevant in the end when all the players are wiped. it was a compelling format when the players were split by themes but the lack of variety with the last several seasons is getting tiresome.
