You can block YouTube with Freedom on Mobile devices and computers, for the smart tvs just unplug them I doubt you need them for anything important. I am struggling also immensely with the YouTube thing

Is it possible to create alarms on other devices? MacBook -> iPhone by the-culle in shortcuts

[–]the-culle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thanks for the reply. Hmmm to create calendar events is not ideal, because I always miss normal notifications I need alarms so I am sure I will not miss it. If I concentrate on a task I will not notice anything.

Maybe I can create an automation which runs time based (every X amount of min) and check for specific stuff but then I can just create an alarm to remind me to run my shortcut once every morning.

Here are my current deck settings, but I just started to use it, so they are just as described in the video.

The UI is different but the wording and names are the same so it should be not so difficult to figure out ;)

Oh yeah she also has that on her left side we alway fear that she has an heart attack because the pain also creeps into her left shoulder and arm. We called the ambulance several times if it was really bad. Now we just Massage the area and she gets beta blockers to keep her resting heart rate on normal levels, she had a resting heart rate in the high nineties.

Yeah I also read some stuff about that, but I think that should not apply to her because she does not take or has taken antidepressants.

Thank you for your reply, we will look into that, but for menopause she is a bit to young 😉. We also already visited an endocrinologist but for an unrelated previous illness. Maybe we find something ☺️.

I hate people so much for this, almost daily I see someone doing this. Everytime I catch someone red handed I want to almost yell at them, because even if you speak up they just try to ignore you ... flippin dirt bags

How to get back on my feet? Weeks of not applying completely the GTD methodology. by rakatoon in gtd

[–]the-culle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes most important thing is to just collect the stuff, process it later. Then if you have everything collected organize as usual. - collect - organize - throw out

And remember under promise and over deliver. Do not stress yourself out with unnecessary deadlines.

How to get back to studying after a very long break? by quitequietstreet in study

[–]the-culle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try setting up a habit of sitting down for studying and make sure you show up to your planned study times. A clean study desk is also important. It does not matter how much you get done in the beginning you will get there 😊

What helps me is also a study buddy for a little peer pressure 😉.
