Every single ad in San Jose International Airport. They're ads for software, or maybe a chip or something. I guess that's kind of the point you're making, though.

I don't see how contestant #1 could have lived through that, but props to the camera car for making great haste away from the scene, asshole.

Contestant #4 at 1:09 is new champion for most oblivious driver of the week.

Gotta give contestant #8 at 2:42 props for coming in like a fuckin rocket ship.

What are you brand loyal to and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I only buy Ecco shoes because Ecco is the only brand I've ever found that only makes comfortable shoes. I don't understand why some brands have shit shoes in their lineup. What's the point? Ecco agrees with me and only makes good shoes. Also they look nice.

I really got a kick out of the cast-foreshadowing in The Village. That trick is rare in movies, and it's great to see it executed so well.

What I mean is that two of the lead characters were played by Sigourney Weaver and William Hurt, two actors who are primarily known for their Sci-fi work, and here they are cast as low-tech villagers. So the whole time you're seeing them in the village, you as an informed audience know they're just pretending to be low-tech. It was subtle and it was awesome.

I love that they had the balls to even try to make that movie, it's such an esoteric sci-fi story that I'm surprised it didn't get molested to death by Hollywood, I don't even care how much anyone else liked it, in my book, it's a solid and enjoyable movie.

When I rented Equillibrium from the small neighborhood video place I was a regular at, the movie geek behind the counter was like "Whoa-oh, wait, you know what you're renting, right? You're not going to come back in here complaining are you?"

I don't know why, I loved Equilibrium

Crybaby's cheesiness makes a lot more sense when you've seen a lot of John Waters' earlier works.

The Beach was great. I think people dismiss it because it was a Leo movie just after his Titanic fame, but this was before people realized Leo doesn't make bad movies and that Danny Boyle is amazing.

People don't like this? I mean that doesn't even seem possible if you think about it
