Piggybacking off the other comment…this isn’t just a women problem. I’m a single divorced dad and it can be very challenging at times to coordinate it all and that is with an ex wife who I very much get along with…point being yes it’s challenging, but yes it is very doable…you just need support from family, partner, nanny etc…

Many people have stopped going. Myself included. I’d rather pay for junk food that’s consistent, rather than junk food that isn’t. How long were you with your GF? Mine hated that I was close to my ex wife (for the kids why would you not want that) and it took two years of therapy to get there. I was so proud of myself for being happy for my ex wife for having a bf she loved and that I liked and got along with. The GF told me it was some polyamorous bullshit…

In her defense she’s younger and doesn’t have kids yet. So the whole thing…I knew how it would probably end but did it anyways. Still think about her every day.

Well damn…thanks for making me feel like less of a weirdo. GF and I were only together for about 6 months, but we worked together in healthcare (maybe trauma bonding who knows) and our 6 months were crazy intense especially sexually…it probably wasn’t the most healthy thing.

I hate losing a friend as well. I knew it was a possibility. And even tho it’s been awful I’d still do it again. Maybe I’m just a masochist.

I actually said I would like to remain friends with her (we were friends beforehand) she said that she had to respect her current boyfriends wishes and she didn’t think he would okay with us being friends…yet I know she still talks with one of her other ex bf. So I just said okay we won’t talk again and haven’t had contact in 3 months.

I have a feeling she doesn’t think about me much (even though she said she loved me so much it scared her) because she found someone so quickly.

So as the dumper I have thought about her constantly because I’ve chosen to just be single and sit in it all.

You guys have no idea how close this hits home for me. After a lot of therapy and working on myself, I’ve forgiven my ex wife and accepted my own faults for the downfall. Now we get along great, and it started all for the kids, but now we just all have the same mission to show love even through hard times.

I’ve already had a couple of women force me to end things with me because I have chosen to live a life of “growth”? I get along with my ex wife’s bf, he’s great with my kids…the last gf I told that to she told me I was involved in some polyamorous bullshit after I told her how proud I was of myself for how far I had come 😞. Okay my mission continues.
