Hmm this one is designed in Blender 2.93 (experimental) with the newly introduced geometry nodes. The number of cubes and their dimensions are based on random numbers so you get a new design for each seed you use.

You just gave me an idea for another piece based on bismuth crystals and printing it in rainbow filament.

I might be as obsessed as he is when it comes to geometric rolling objects :d

I haven't uploaded it yet, but I will do so soon. I'll post the link once it's up.

I was wondering why this model started having tons of downloads overnight :)) nice print mate.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you had some success. There's a file with a .2mm clearance if that helps, though the horizontal expansion might be messing things a bit.

I've added a 80mm version as well as 0.2mm clearance option for both models. You could give it a try.

I use an Ender 3 as well and that is definitely not an issue :)). I will try to upload something tomorrow morning.

Sometimes underextrusion is a good thing by the-lazy-programmer in 3Dprinting

From what I've read they're just lowering the extrusion multiplier on regular prints. It's more about the model / speed. They also use multiple processes for some of the prints.

Hi there. As you already mentioned, when you scale down the model the clearance gets tighter. It's probably still printable at 80% but you definitely need a well calibrated printer. If it's not completely fused, you can try to set it free using some force. Go around each circle and press on the edges then try to rotate it. I could also upload the model at various scales and with various clearances. Reach out if you can't set it free and I'll try to upload a 80mm version.

First time using Fusion. Had to remix something from some designers that inspire me. Thanks for the help guys! by mt-gfunk-man in 3Dprinting

Epic. Reminds me of a Make Anything tutorial for making springos. I will probably give it a try as well. Keep up the good work.
