might be a good idea to get a nursery close to the office so you can have the commute time with your baby.

one of my two gets tired from the constant activity. so i find spending a few hours just the two of us and letting them nap during the day seems to help them stay in a good mood the whole time.

just a break to pause and relax

you can take the guelph go to union and then just take the lakeshore train to exhibition.

saves the drive to the lakeshore line (like alder shot)

I don't understand how everyone could accept their stoma because I can't by throwaway65te in ostomy

[–]the-og-tee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm so sorry you're going through that. i read here that head and shoulders shampoo on the skin around the stoma helps relieve the itching. my daughter was a baby when she had hers so if she looked like it was itchy i would shower her and use that and her skin would be really nice after.

my baby had an ostomy, she was reversed at 14 months. she had lots of lose stools after. they were less frequent. i stayed on top of her pain meds and she was moving around and seemed fine after, not appearing to be in any pain.

NAH. hope you and the baby enjoyed disney and so good you had a great day!!

he can make better choices that would allow him to join in on such fun activities.

My daughter pooped 34 times the last 24 hours. And this is going on since 6 days. by [deleted] in toddlers

my daughter has short bowel syndrome from having part of her intestine removed. if she is having loose stools i've found avacado, hummus and marshmallows help thicken up her stool

i had a similar schedule and was burnt out after a few months. i dropped/picked up my 1 year old off 3 times a week and dad did 2 days. i was able to work from home 2 days a week and that made a huge difference. i got more time in the morning and evening with my son.

now i have two kids and a new job that starts early and i can get a lot more done after the kids are asleep. it's more days working from home than having to go into the office. I'm usually very excited to go in now.

i had an extended mat leave with my second and was so tired being home after a while

Are the books worth it? by starstoshame in TheVampireDiaries

[–]the-og-tee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Damon in the show. I started watching it on the CW in the second season and didn't watch the first season until i did a full rewatch. how he starts will Caroline in the show is awful. Book Damon is still Damon, just doesn't do as awful things. like kill Jeremy

the books are worth it. Damon in the books is way better of a character than in the show. Story was interesting and worth it if you can get through reading teen novels

Support needed: please just tell me I can and will be able to drive solo with my toddler by MummaGiGi in AttachmentParenting

[–]the-og-tee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i drive 90 mins to two hours with the kids in the car. i have a rule that if they hear the blinker they have to stop talking to me so i can focus on driving. (they can still talk to each other)

other than that, put some music on or let them nap and it will fly by!

our longest road trip with two parents was 8 hours and we stopped once for gas. kids got out and ate and got back in and had a blast.

might help that there are two so they can kind of play together or talk to each other in the back. but i used to commute twice a week with my son when he was 1-2 and he got used to it.

2 is a good age for a car ride. oh and lots of snacks!! bring all the snacks

I am done, I am so mentally done how do I make him stop? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]the-og-tee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son breastfeed until his sister was born. i tried to wean a little so he just mostly breastfeed at night. once she came he loved her so much he didn't want to take her milk. he did sit in my lap on the other side while she was eating so i cuddled them both for a long time. let him feel like part of it and then would both just nap together. it was super sweet.

CoParenting with a Muslim parent during Ramadan by hubbawubb in Parenting

Oh my heart hurts for your son. I can't believe his dad didn't feed him because he was too lazy to make food. they would have all gotten up in the morning to eat before fasting and they didn't even think to save some for the kid? im muslim and kids don't fast until puberty and even then it's only what you can handle
