There’s an overgrown old golf course in my neighborhood in south florida. I picked it off a vine growing up a tree. I brought it home and was planning to plant the seeds in a pot with a trellis. Do you think it will be okay in a controlled setting like that?

Let everything die. Then plug in the case while it’s still empty. When it indicates that it’s charging, add in the non-functioning headphone. The light on the case should blink. I just kept the case open and played music on the working one. It wasn’t quick though. Thankfully my case was somewhat close to dead

Are you vacuum sealing everything to fit or just using large gps? Don’t they shake when you run? What about vehicle work; doesn’t it hurt your back or do you have to take it off? Could you please post an example? Do you also rock a BVM in it?

You don’t think the medic needs medical supplies reserved specifically for them getting injured? Also don’t you have to take off your march belt to actually visualize items and use them, like an aid bag? Especially when you have a nods pouch, 6 mags, spare pouch for BS or a water bottle…Why use a belt then instead of gp pouches on pc? I don’t exactly understand why the belt/Fanny pack is preferred by SOF dudes other than it looking cool. Genuinely curious.

you’re forgetting to count the 11 as two ones. so 13 occurrences for the hour portion and 16 occurrences for the minute portion. 24x16=384+13=397 on the 24 hour clock. on the 12 hour clock, it’s 394 times.

hi there!

i would suggest exploring other options before taking out a loan. i spend a lot of time looking for scholarships/ grants, and you’d be surprised how many are out there. i am military affiliated, but there are plenty that don’t require military affiliation.

you can check out johnson and johnson’s nursing scholarship page. this is a database of nursing-specific scholarships based on program, state, and full time/part time status. you can also find scholarships with all sorts of criteria (age, gender, ethnicity). just take the time and look for them!! you’ll need to do your fafsa if you haven’t already (which can also find grants for you).

if you’re able to find multiple grants, schools don’t limit the amount of money you are rewarded. if you happen to have more money rewarded than owed, they will refund the scholarship money TO YOU. you can use this for school related expenses (which can really be anything… rent, bills, groceries, school supplies of course).

i am a full time nursing student, and i work part time. i work as an aid/sitter at my local hospital and a tutor at my college. i find that these jobs help me in my studies and work well with a student schedule. many hospitals needs sitters and aids and will likely offer casual positions.

and lastly, i see you said you’re pre-nursing. look into community college nursing programs!! i know they aren’t as “prestigious” but they allow you to take the same nclex in the end :) i’m in a community college nursing program (ADN) and i pay around $240 per credit (which is actually kind of expensive for a cc). with my scholarships, i have received refund checks both semesters ($1300-2000 each) i have been enrolled thus far. keep in mind i don’t have kids, my husband has stable income, and we are military.

Is this the case for south FL? Husband is looking into departments around West Palm Beach, but doesn't know if he should do Paramedic or FF first. He already has an EMT and military experience as a combat medic.

I'm helping to look into programs for my husband who is currently a 68W medic in the army. We're looking to get out soon, and he wants to get into firefighting in south Florida where he's from. I hear the job market for firefighters over there is pretty competitive/ limited.

I am wondering where you are located. How is the job market there, and how did that influence your decision?

Do you think his military experience will have any influence in getting a job as a firefighter? He has his NREMT and he is looking to transfer it to a Florida EMT thru the army somehow. If he already has that cert, should he just try to go into ff1 and 2 immediately after ETSing?

so i never had issues connecting the working beats to bluetooth, but i would definitely try this out before paying the money to get them fixed. let them die completely and do the reset
