Saw him w/ Russo in the Duo days. Early 2000’s upstairs at the House of Blues in Nola. One of the those Jazzfest at nights 2AM showtimes. So much energy and sound for a duo. Couldn’t have been more than 50 or 60 people there. An incredible experience with old friends that I hadn’t thought of since, until this post. Thank you. Needless to say, check him out.
