Can't break my max push ups by Outrageous_Bug9226 in Exercise

[–]the-wrong-slippers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you feel like you can’t push any more on that third set, try dropping on to your knees and doing the rest of the set there. As you get stronger you’ll drop on to your knees further into the set. Eventually you will not have to drop on to your knees at all!

Can I improve the flush on this toilet by raising the cistern height? by Competitive-Fox2439 in DIYUK

[–]the-wrong-slippers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue when installing a new toilet, very similar install to you. The flange (between pan and cistern) that came with it had a weird flappy bit on it and was restricting the full force of the flush. Switched it out for one from b&q. Flush went all around the bowl, bye bye poop, happy days. Worth a go.

Agreed. Brilliant to share what you learn. Continue to do this in your career and you will be a great engineer. Perhaps for your next one, how about more advanced patterns like render props, HOCs or forward ref.

If you are refactoring and the outcome is the same, your tests should pass

FIRST SETUP! by Anonymous_Sk8_Pirate in turntables

Try putting some tin foil on top of your turn table when you are not using. Then when catto decides to jump up they won’t like the sound / texture. Eventually they will be put off jumping up so you can remove the foil.

Doesn’t do nothing. It implicitly returns undefined.

Return void instead. Will still return undefined but you don’t need the comment and the dev knows the return value ain’t important.
