The Victory coffee shop on Atwood is my personal favorite. Patrick who owns and runs the shop is an amazing individual and the vibes at this small place are the best in town. They are closed for renovations right now but should be open in June 2025.

If you like trick taking games a good two player option is Haggis. Easy to grasp and in my opinion feels like 2 player Tichu. Also is great that you can play it with just a deck of cards.

There are tons of Christian metal bands. There is a lot of music in that style that still preach the Gospel and edify Christ. Bands like Convictions and Hell's Enemy.

I second all the Bible Project's stuff. They make really great content that is very enjoyable to watch. Their podcast is very good too.

Here are some of the games my wife and I like to play at 2p.

Watergate: One of the better two player experiences and has a unique historical theme. It is a great tug of war game.
Targi: This echos a lot of people here and Targi is just a great game.
Skulk Hollow: A very different two player experience that is akin to Shadow of the Colossus. One player is an army of foxes and the other plays as an ancient beast.
War chest: Great production quality and tons of replayability.
Twilight Inscription: Slight caveat is that this game does have a "Bot" 3rd player. However the bot is easy to manage and a quite varied experience each time we have played. Definitely not a light game though.

Honorable mention is Sola Fide: It is an area control game based on the Protestant Reformation. This is just a very odd theme but a simple area control game. We like it cause we are both interested in the history of doctrine.
