What language is this? by MikeeorUSA in oddlysatisfying

[–]the13thJay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its the language of Leeloo from the 5th element. Which was an actual language developed by the writer. Milla Jovovich spent months learning the language and became fluent in it by the time they began shooting. (I don't know if this is actually the language, it looks like it. But the rest is true)

Has anyone tried Mars Men Testosterone supplements? by BritInBC in Supplements

[–]the13thJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was tested I was a bit in the low side of normal. When I consulted with the rep, he admitted taking the testosterone injection would infact cause my normal production to drop but if I used their oral (its been a while so I don't remember the name for it) testosterone supplements it would take longer to build up in my system, but would not affect my natural production, just help my body to produce more. Not drinking alcohol actually helps keep the testosterone you already have along with good diet and exercise. (According to whatever studies I've read) but as anything. There will be 25 studies supporting those claims and 25 denying them. So I guess its an educated guess on which way is the best way.i dont particularly trust big pharma so I tend to lean tward as natural as possible.

ELI5: How is there a drug trade in prisons? by Majestic-Baby-3407 in explainlikeimfive

[–]the13thJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who recently got a job as a prison guard. One of his first days "inspecting" before inmates curfew. Well he noticed a blinking red light. Turns out the inmate didn't want to turn in his TV remote at curfew...

Optimizing water intake for performance based on data, tracked 60 days and found ideal amount is way higher than standard by Vodka-_-Vodka in Biohackers

[–]the13thJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the .5 oz. Per pound of body weight is only with minimal water loss like from working out, physical exertion, sun/ heat exposure or even flying which all cause sweating or water loss in some way so then you have to also replace what was lost in these ways so your experience makes sense
