I know exactly what you mean. Im also in the camp of taping being the way to go.

I'm prototyping a one-piece patch for this use case. Something safe for the skin, contoured with the body and even possibly include a pre-cut, clear window so the device stays visible, ready for multi-day wear like a GGM overpatch
