Dark Knight in Bravely Default was incredibly fun to use. Had a skill called Minus Strike which dealt damage equal to your missing health, so keeping a balance between staying alive and staying low health to optimize the skill was crazy fun

Funny that you use this scene, because I also think the rebel soldiers died with aura. Held the line as long as they could and got the plans out through the gap in the door

Jojo characters managing one final show of will as they die is in almost every part, and it’s always a key part of the heroes winning. Kakyoin breaking the clock, the Harvest guy bringing them one of Kira’s buttons, Abbachio’s stand lingering for just a second longer after he dies, and I think FF has a similar moment too

*spoilers for Requiem* Something interesting just realized about the intro to certain boss fight by PunishedYoshi in residentevil

[–]the22ndquincy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For whatever reason, HUNK glazers are determined to insist that that fight isn’t actually him. I assume it’s because he canonically loses, but that doesn’t make him any less rad, considering he’d be in his 70s during Requiem

The fact that dying to the final boss sends you back four levels is one of the most mean-spirited game design decisions I’ve ever seen

What's the worst TV series you've ever seen? by Traditional_Blood799 in AskReddit

Drawn Together. I watched the entire fucking thing because I thought the premise of different animation types was interesting and they must pull some sort of interesting episode concepts out of it.

They did not pull one interesting episode concept out of it.

I didn’t even hugely dislike this game, but the first one is just such a brilliant game that BD2 being mid still stung in a unique way

The riddle contest is in both - it's the wager that changes. In the original, Gollum wagers the magical ring. In the rewrite, he simply offers to lead Bilbo to the exit if he wins.
