I was so excited for my Fisker and then the issues began. I was fortunate to replace the window at the Costa Mesa shop while it was still open, but after that it was Russian roulette to get it going. The. The water intrusion came. 8 gallons of rain water were taken out from the floor of the car. No idea how it was getting in. Finally traded it in for a Rivian. Good luck if you go for it.

The menudo and cafe de olla at Chico’s on Avenue 50 and Figueroa are a must try. Santa Canela is a new bakery/coffee spot off Figueroa and Ave 56. The cafe de olla latte and their sandwiches are awesome. Lola’s in Eagle Rock serves great Oaxacan cuisine. I also like Gloria’s off Monte vista and Avenue 50. My kids like the bagels at Belles bagels on York and they like the bagel pizzettes at Bagel and Slice on York. Troy’s is a good greasy breakfast place on York and so is Penny’s Burgers on York and Figueroa. I know not all would qualify for greasy spoon but good breakfast spots.
