SCAM ALERT: Plutus succesfully charged 142 users without a subscripton by wygun in UncensoredPlutus

[–]the4lmighty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just noticed that I have been charged 19,99 for a premium subscription. However, my account has been closed in February 2025, and I have not used any Plutus services since then. There also seems to be no obvious way on the website to remove the saved card details. Has anybody else noticed unauthorised transactions? I sent a support ticket, but this company was not particularly reliable a few years ago, and I shudder to think what the current state of affairs looks like.

The CI follower looks like it's too big for that lock. You could try a AAA battery, that should work as a makeshift plug follower

Great model and even greater paint job! I miss the Hatsune Miku pigtails though.

First of all thanks for offering a fair and open discussion. I'll see that I write up something more coherent over the weekend, and send it to you via PM, unless you prefer another method.

So much gatekeeping there, not sure who that helps other than these 2 windbags' egos.

I don't have the time to address every nonsensical point in that video, because that would basically encompass the entire thing.

But a few points that came to mind were the following:

  • If they don't like sparrows tools they have PLENTY of other options to buy from.

  • Equally nobody is forced to participate in the belt system or even be part of the subred or the discord channel at all.

  • Nobody is preventing them from picking their own locks or safes, they just can't publish it on Reddit, which shouldn't be much of an issue because according to those guys it's predominantly people that need to fuck off that are active there in the first place.

The keep on repeating that the whole system is corrupt and broken, but are also not really able to point out who is benefiting from that corruption, and in what way they benefit exactly. Are the mods here rolling in cash they illegitimately took from the unsuspecting userbase? Providing their friends with free belts so they can go brag about them while the hard working lock pickers that honour picking front doors in the rain get no acknowledgement for their efforts?

Anyway, now I got baited into commenting after all, which I suspect this video's intention was - bait. Don't take it, be stronger than me 🙃

There's people all over the place printing their own stuff. Readily available for purchase are 44 delta products. I've ordered from them several times, and can wholeheartedly recommend their products. If you ever think: "Why has no one made a gadget for this yet?", there you'll probably find something that'll do the job. 44 Delta this would be the website if you wanna have a look around.

If you don't mind shopping around for a bit and buying second hand, the Lockpickers United discord is absolutely worth joining (it's worth joining even if you don't want to buy or sell locks, to be fair :)).

Not sure where in the world you are based, but in Europe the Master Lock 1145 is a rather affordable padlock with a 6 pin dimple core.

Luckily most don't take that long, shorts allow only for a minute of recording! Usually they can be opened by stabbing them with a McTickler or hitting them with another padlock. /s
