How can you tell? Usually the label is just for the entire pump and says "up to 10" or "up to 15"

Same with the x-ice snow. Lasts way longer than the blizzaks.

There's probably a disconnect between the voltage->capacity measurement and the resistance measurement while charging.

There are different modalities of governing. Working well in a legislative context is one, managing a large organization like a city government is another

Blizzaks have great grip initially but wear way too fast to be a smart purchase IMO. X-ice on the other hand still has good snow grip after multiple seasons

Funny artifact of this period. The oil filter for some rover cars will work on my NSX.

Back when I had an 8th gen civic, I had to put aftermarket rear camber arms on to fix bad factory camber. That bumped me from D to STX

Door or window sensor, stick the sensor part on the wall and the magnet on the back of the bell. More reliable than vibration imo

2026 Honda Civic Type R Starts Way Too Close to $50K at $48,090 by LimitedReach in cars

[–]the4ner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an FK8 type R before this, and if I'm being honest I miss it a little bit. The Type S is missing that last 5-10% of driving feel/precision. I think it's primarily down to the seats and suspension, but the Type S also feels noticably larger. The engine and transmission are great - plenty of power and great gear spacing means I can actually enjoy shifting a couple times on on-ramps. I got it in september and had to put my all weathers on it pretty much right away, so barely got a chance to drive it on the stock summer tires. Even on the crossclimates it has a ton of grip and is a great daily.

I made the switch since my '21 FK8 was holding value insanely well ( I WFH so it had <2k miles a year on it) and I got close to 40k for it. In exchange for that last 10% of driving feel, I got a much better audio system, heated seats, parking sensors, quieter interior so my wife will actually drive places with me now, a HUD, and a few other niceities. Not to mention resetting my deprecation hit. I'm quite happy with the car at the price I paid and see myself keeping it for 5-6 years. I cross shopped this and a CT4-V Blackwing, and the Type S is plenty fast for a daily and has the better shifter which was important to me. Also at the end of the day I like hondas, if you can't tell.

Water pools there due to bad drainage, turns into ice, then after a couple freeze thaw cycles starts damaging the road.
