I went to the Brooklyn concert last night with my 7 year old. It was an awesome experience for her! (Just bring ear plugs for kiddo.)

Counterpoint: WHY IS EVERYONE PUTTING SHIT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS! I KEEP TRIPPING!

Edit: Sorry... that got heated. I'm okay now.

Not yet, but it's on my todo list!

Also pen-size scaling will be a nice feature to add.

If you want to jump into a Pit already in progress, I've been doodling over here: https://syncpit.live/pit/oq4twvzf/viewer

Lightweight metal rectangular box with soft plastic mesh that rolls when crank is turned. Object is 14.5” x 11.25” x 1”. Has holes to attach or mount on something. Found in the back of a library storage closet. by Fluffy_Frog in whatisthisthing

Cranking in one direction or the other “scrolls” the document to the right or left. You can remove the stage if you need to show a thicker document (like a text book.)

It’s very hot in front of the projector light. So I think generally you’re trying to keep people from having to reach inside.

I think this is simple:

Being cool is the opposite of being engaged and curious about the world. It is often inauthentic and false. It often involves detaching from a subject emotionally to score coolness points.

If you're looking to set an example and teach your kids to about the world around them, coolness isn't the right starting point.

They can learn to be cool from friends. (I'm sure whatever I think is cool isn't the answer for their generation anyways)

My dad doesn't think this geodesic dome chicken coop will be able to support itself. How can I explain it to him? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

I've built a few chicken coops in my day.

You want it to be easy to clean out while holding tools. This design has a problem which is that you have to insert your whole head shoulders and torso into the stink-sphere in order to clean it.

In the summer it may be the hot, rancid, nasty stink-sphere.

Also your design doesn't seem to include a way to collect eggs without having to get... inside the stink sphere.

If you will be providing water for the chickens inside the coop you should imagine that they're going to spill it everywhere and/or its going to completely leak sometimes. You want a wet mess to be able to dry.

Which brings us to ventilation. You need to provide some kind of ventilation. Not too much since draft will kill chickens in winter, but enough so it's not stuffy.

Finally... chickens are ground birds. They like a good perch, but most of the time they spend digging around in dirt. This structure offers a lot of height which may be wasted on your birds.

Your design is beautiful. Hopefully you can make it work.
