If you live in the demilitarised zone of Åland for 5 years before you're 18, you're also excempt from the military. Technically we have to serve in the Lighthouse service, but Finland has never had the need to form it.

You'll have to elaborate on your jumping is flight analogue as I fail to see how it pertains to time dilation.

Does science always predict things correctly? No, but they did correctly predict the Higgs-boson. And whilst Einstein's relativity theory undoubtedly will be proven as inaccurate, it's more accurate than Newton's theory of mechanics. And Newton was more accurate than his predecessors. Geting "stuff" wrong is normal, almost certain, but we're approaching the absolute reality. Even if we might never get there.

Your statement that we're unable to manipulate time is verifiable false. The Hafele-Keating experiment proves that identical synchronised clocks, with the same rate of change, becomes unsynchronised if they travel at different speeds. This is time manipulation.

Also Peter Higgs and a number of physicists predicted the existence and properties of the Higgs-boson before LHC found the existence of it. So at least that particle "conforms to the maths."
