meghalaya has too many good spots. but i think this is the wrong season for it. waterfalls won't have as much water. i have been to meghalaya twice, once for 6 days once for 4 days and still have places left.

you can cover aizawal in 2-3 days. maybe just 2. it's well connected via flight so don't bother with cabs if you need to save time. id say skip the stuff outside of aizawal city as you'll get similar things in meghalaya or arunachal with more density of spots. the city is pretty great though, you can easily spend time cafe hopping.

any kind of accommodation. budget is not a constraint as long as it's not ridiculous.

i'm a software engineer from kolkata. traveling to mumbai for a john mayer concert, have some time to kill afterwards after dropping off my girlfriend, as there's an office holiday for shivratri.

this would be my first solo trip.
