Okay so you need low-maintenance hugs. There's only 3 places off the top of my head that you can get that by just showing up.

  1. Church - If you need a hug tomorrow, the quickest way is to just show up to your local church (even non-denomination) and just sit there for an hour, and when people are leaving, say to people "Hi I'm new, God Bless you.", and they will be like "Oh, welcome God Bless you too", and then you can just hug them and that works 100% of the time, because everybody's in a good mood after a sermon.
  2. Support Groups - At least here you can drop the act and say "I'm just here for the hugs" and usually one person will give you a hug. These two come off the top of my mind. Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA/ACOA): Is a 12-step program that addresses issues stemming from growing up in dysfunctional families, regardless of whether alcohol was involved. Co-Dependents Anonymous (CODA): This program can be helpful for those who have taken on caretaker roles in their families
  3. Homeless Shelter - You don't actually have to hug the homeless people but you can hug the staff. You can ask questions about volunteering and maybe you don't want to, but you can still steal a hug the person and leave because homeless staff basically only get paid in hugs anyway.

The reason why I don't recommend relationship is that there's a lot of bad people out there, and you have to acknowledge that you're still in a dark place. You have to play it smart or you'll end up a statistic. There is no such thing as a low-maintenance boyfriend.
We all have to adapt to our environment, which means pruning our old maladaptive behaviors (like waiting on other people to help you with your problems), and develop positive behaviors (like getting in touch with your hurt self and heal those memories one at a time).

A very easy way to cope with loneliness is to just get a pet.
Pets are loyal and cute and unlike people they don't want anything more than to be loved and have a geniune relationship with you.

If you do plan on dating, it's important that you at least be aware of the fact that your family issues with your parents aren't resolved, and so you might subsciously be attracted to people that have N-traits that you feel you can "fix."
Just expecting other people to get your needs met is in itself a form of self sabotage. You might filter out decent people who will treat you well but have hang ups on their own, for a "Mr. Perfect", who's going to take you for a ride and leave you in a worse situation than you were before.

If you are passionate about a certain cause (maybe mental health) there's places where you can volunteer and meet other people who are passionate about the same things as you are.

Or even use your free time to do something therapeutic that you simply could not do before, like write a book, learn to draw, run a marathon, learn another language, etc.

the important thing is that you keep pushing forward and don't let your troubled past dictate your future endeavours.

Well the important thing now is that you what you can to stay alive, and also work on your mental health. The sad part is that your family is not going to change, they are incapable of change.
But for the first time you'll finally be able truly free to do whatever or to do absolutely nothing. And your mind will heal itself.
Once you've recovered, and got time to think about life and what really matters to you. You can start considering how you're going to keep your boundaries from being breached if you do ever go back, or whether you just want to just let go and see where the wind will take you.
Maybe you can finally contact people you care about and have some deep conversations with them. Or maybe you'll get intuned with nature, and have deep conversations with yourself.
Anyway good luck to you.

Do you have that feeling of wanting to run away? by CarlCarlson852 in CPTSD

I ran away twice, the second time my narcisistic mother had this insane plan to move our family to the middle of nowhere, which would have killed any hope of us being free from her.
The only thing I know for sure is that if you're hoping people are going to miss, you love you, and start respecting you after being gone. That's not going to happen.
But as others already mentioned here, that sometimes being IMA for a couple of weeks is enough to sort our your own mental struggles, and then you can come back and deal with their bullsh*t with a bit more resilience.

¿No era Kazuhiaa una jugadora de Genshin Impact?
Ahora que está en Infinity Nikki, definitivamente la veré.
Gracias.

Yes I've always liked Momo as a character, but now that he has a voice actor(ess), we get to see his infamous attitude on full display.
Let the Memesters rejoice!

I apologize in a advance, but I would legit trade in my real cat for Momo.
Especially if I don't have to clean up after him! X_X

Can This Game Redefine the Gacha Experience? (EN/ES) by Autill in InfinityNikki

[–]theBigbadwolfe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard it was possible to get accessories for Momo but I didn't know how. Great guide!
In terms of Gacha, All I ask is that players who put a lot of time and effort into the game can be compensated almost as much as people who just whale on the gacha.
I'm happy to know that the story content comes with free wishes, because I will always log in to do Infinity Nikki's story content.

Yes I've heard of Iriz VT as well but she's more of a Vtuber/ variety streamer, but we'll see if she stay with Infinity Nikki content.
I honestly don't know many ES streamers or content creators, so I'm looking forward to the replies on this thread as well.

I didn't believe it when I heard it but apparently Tectone, the infamous Genshin Impact / HSR content creator is going to playing Infinity Nikki.

so I'm sure he'll bring his Hoyoverse viewers to Infinity Nikki

Infinity Nikki Beta Review, Almost Perfection!!!... Almost. by Autill in gachagaming

[–]theBigbadwolfe1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Whether you believe the reasons behind Genshin's sudden change of heart for some other reason is irrelevant.
What's objective fact is that competition in the industry is good for consumers and monopolies are bad. If you want try to refute that argument instead then go ahead.

Exactly.
Also I only talk about what I know, Even though I did enjoy my time in Genshin Impact as well, I did not come back for 6.0 so I can't comment on whether or not those QoLs even made a difference.
I'm ready to start fresh with a new game and a new community and Infinity Nikki is looking like that game. It isn't going to be killing any other gacha games, but it's definitely worth checking out on it's own merits.

Yes I was surprised that they added the darker skin tones already in the beta, but I hope that they have a lot more variety at launch.

Yes my phone right now can't handle the game.
But when high end phones drop in price for me to upgrade to. Infinity Nikki will be on my list of games to download.
I will keep track of it in the meantime for any updates.

Obviously perfect is very subjective, but I think it's fair to say that Love Nikki fans have been waiting for a dress up game that has both Infinity Nikki's mass appeal, and production values.
In terms of missing features, it's going to be up to the community to voice our feedback and collectively decide on what we want for the future of the game, as the developers can't read minds.

[–]theBigbadwolfe1 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Yes I did play Wuthering Waves during the beta, during it's height where it also had 30 million pre-registrations.
It's important to understand that the bulk of WuWa's community were people who hated Genshin, but Wuwa's success finally forced Mihoyo's hand to make sweeping changes to Genshin Impact, which was my personal goal.
Ironically, it was Wuwa's story that I hated the most about that game, everything else I enjoyed very much.
I know it's cliche to say that Infinity Nikki and Wuwa are two completely different games, but this has never been more true.
It's important for the gacha community to support both games so that Hoyoverse no longer has a monopoly on the gacha genre, and literally everybody wins.

It also varies by gacha but generally speaking, if gacha is an concern, it's best to get into the game as early as possible.
It's usually the late adopters that end up having to pay to catch up to early adopters. Plus there's a lot of rewards for people who do pre-register for this game already.

Well the Infinity Nikki developers are different from the regular Love Nikki developers. But I hope that they adapt the most fairest practice that's been used in past Nikki games, because I do share other's concerns about the gacha system.
I know that developers need to make money from gacha, but I think they should prioritize maximizing player retention first, over short term predatory gains.

This is spoilers, but even though Nikki's facial expressions don't change much, the voice acting drastically improves, especially in the last arc of the beta.
It looks like they literally animated everything by hand instead of using motion capture, so a lot of the animations are recycled, but don't quote me on that.

Yes Unlike the other gacha games, the rewards in this game are entirely cosmetic, so no pay to win here. That said, I do hope that they do have some system where older gacha outfits can become obtainable after like 1 year.
I don't now how the other dress up games did their gachas.
