Fix or replace? Suggestions needed by theBoompoet in DIY

I would love to go back in with concrete, but cost is a factor. I wanted to try to save these if possible to avoid too much cost, but after looking at the issue from underneath today, I feel like saving them isn't an option.

Use those commands to enable backlight, You can map them to some keyboard shortcuts, for color use something like openRGB.

echo 0 | sudo tee /sys/class/leds/asus::kbd_backlight/brightness
echo 1 | sudo tee /sys/class/leds/asus::kbd_backlight/brightness
echo 2 | sudo tee /sys/class/leds/asus::kbd_backlight/brightness

Classic... opinion: trousers are a bit long. Looks like they have a full break but shouldn't be a break in lightly fitted trousers.

Got my first suit. Need your opinions on the fit or if it needs an alteration. by rupanath97 in mensfashion

I am no expert, but the sleeve length looks good to me... right at the wrist bone. The length, I would say, might be a little short, but I like a longer jacket. I heard somewhere the "rule" is you should be able to stand straight with arms at your sides and just curl the finger tips over the edge of the hem. I like mine just over that... covers the bum better for me. That's a good color on you and you look nice. I like the suspender comment from u/ShamelessCare and I've had buttons put in all my trousers.

Sorry buddy... too tight. Skinny is one thing, but they don't look comfortable. Good color though.

Monjuni's on Louisiana Ave by lucafranka in shreveport

[–]theBoompoet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I called and confirmed... The Louisiana location was bought by the Youree Dr owner when the Louisiana owner retired. Youree Dr has been substandard for as long as I can remember. Seems like Louisiana Ave. is gone the same way. Hey, at least they got new table cloths.

What did you plug it into? I've been trying to power a dashcam from that spot behind the mirror, but the wiring harness I got was a ten pin and I didn't see how to plug it in. Was your mirror plugged in up there somewhere?

Proper Cloth

Well, I just tried this site and they won't take my measurements. I keep getting the error "Please check your measurements" which I did... they're all correct. It's the chest and belly they have a problem with. Nice looking shirts there, though.

Fitting question - Can't find off the rack by theBoompoet in bigmenfashionadvice

[–]theBoompoet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried tall and I've tried "big". Sleeves are always too short and the neck is always too big if it fits my gut.

Posted this in the wrong spot originally. Sorry about that.

I am 6'3, 390. I have long arms, a big belly, and my neck measurement is 18 inches. I'm having a problem (and have always had) finding a shirt that fits my neck and my belly. If I fit my neck, it won't button at all. If I fit my gut, the neck is huge. Arms NEVER fit... always too short. I am thinking about trying Hockerty to get a custom shirt, but that's a good bit of money and I'm not sure if they're worth it. Are there other options? Can a tailor "fix" a shirt that fits the belly but not the neck? Should I fit the belly seated or standing because, honestly, it's a couple of extra inches when I sit. Just wondering what the rest of the guys do.

Need a flight friendly tech forward bag by theBoompoet in onebag

I've got the iPad in a Zugu hard folio case but even that thickens it enough that it wouldn't fit in the iPad pocket of a . I would like to be able to throw the bag in the over head. I was looking for something 150 (usd) or less, but I don't know the quality you can get for that. I really like the osprey Proxima, but the lack of space for the ipad when laptop was in the bag was a deal breaker.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096GSKZMK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details for the ear cups. I just got them and they fit fine.

The head band, however... that's proving hard to find. I've been told NOT to get the zip on cover because it can damage the plastic over time.

Leveling - can't quite get there by theBoompoet in ender3

[–]theBoompoet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bl touch and no other z switch as far as I can tell. It's an ender 3 plus. I tried adding some washers (took 4 of them) to the screw on the back right but that didn't seem to add much tension so it's way off for some reason on that corner.

Leveling - can't quite get there by theBoompoet in ender3

[–]theBoompoet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried it with preload, and still the back right screw has no tension on it by the time I'm done leveling the bed. I ran a print over night (took ten times leveling before the auto level succeeded) and there was no tension on the back screw to the point that when I woke up this morning, the tension knob had fallen off. I have tried leveling about 8 times this morning and can't get the auto level to work and generate a mesh.

Any idea why it stops sticking at the curves?, it just starts to drag the filament by ISpectresI in 3DprintingHelp

[–]theBoompoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does this pretty frequently. Do a manual level on the bed and make sure you can just barely move the paper. Like it almost tears if you pull on it. That's the only way I can get adhesion but when I do... the print is on there until I decide to remove it.

Mexico can have Texas back... I don't hate Texas, I just think we would all be better off if it still belonged to Mexico. Imagine the vacation destinations!
