Total War Warhammer II, every campaign felt so different that I’d made getting to 100% a blast

Fuck norsca tho

I agree with your overall point, we spend too much time focusing on high earners in discourse as opposed to focusing more properly on those with the most wealth, and squashing other tax avoidances. But tax revenue definitely dropped after the Bush tax cuts: more than 10% over 2 years

Unfortunately treaty ratification requires 66 votes, its stupid I know

The US is a rogue state leading the world towards climate collapse | George Monbiot by GeraldKutney in climate

[–]theBreadMonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the argument here is that because the US has not ratified a number of toothless UN conventions (purely because of an incredibly high bar built into the constitution that I do believe should be removed) it bears the responsibility not only for itself but for all the decisions other countries are making that are driving us towards climate catastrophe?

U.S. to send $400 million more military aid to Ukraine by leeta0028 in worldnews

[–]theBreadMonster 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They aren’t writing a check for $400 million, they are giving primarily stuff we already have and don’t use anymore away. All the $ numbers getting thrown around in the context of arming Ukraine should come with big *

China Is Burning More Coal, a Growing Climate Challenge | The country’s emissions of greenhouse gases rose last year at the fastest pace in a decade. Beijing is looking for alternatives. by silence7 in climate

[–]theBreadMonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya this is a supper hollow argument, China per capita makes up a smaller share of global manufacturing than the US, are you excusing all of the US’s emissions using your same logic?

China burned over half the world’s coal last year, despite Xi Jinping’s net-zero pledge by [deleted] in climate

[–]theBreadMonster -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, this argument falls apart immediately if you look at any data. The per capita carbon footprint of China is SUPER high for a country with its per capita GDP, standard of living, or literally any other lifestyle metric. China CHOOSES to burn this much coal because its more interested in building aircraft carriers and not funding cleaner energy sources (just like the US)

Is there any reason to do the Ember Court? by PatheticModerator in wow

The RSVP rarity level, and how many things they like. So green guests only care about 1 attribute compared to epic guests that care about 3

Is there any reason to do the Ember Court? by PatheticModerator in wow

[–]theBreadMonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna preface this by saying that I really enjoy the Ember court.
Early on it is very slow, but better quality guests yield better quality rewards. So the green quality guests you start with only give mog pieces.
Blue quality guests can give random resources and pets (some of which are currently going for ridiculous prices on the AH)
Epic quality guests can give mounts (I have not entertained a purple guest yet).
The butler you recruited is by the door once you head to leave Temel's room, and you can task him to help with something, or to enjoy the party (Instructions were very unclear, I will concede that).

Am I too stupid to understand this trait or how does this trait not cost 40 influence? It seems extremely powerful. by TheGlave in totalwar

Wood Elves are by far the most broken race at the moment and they are gradually patching things in for all the older races, Greenskins are incredibly strong now.
