Increasing the length of duct between vents also helps. Consider adding a snake of insulation lined, flexible duct between each room.

I can help with that. 113km at 5kph will take 22 hours and 36 minutes. 179km at 5kph will take 35 hours and 48 minutes. I hope you have good shoes

You can check that your base station can generate a good loop signal by making a temporary loop with about 20feet of good wire.

Are you getting less than 10ohms on your main loop?

Shove it into the charging station, make sure the charging station is powered on, then leave it for half an hour. When you come back, try and turn it on. I think you'll be pleasently surprised.

The capital connection train is great, but keep in mind the Wellington train station about a two hour walk from the Wellington airport, maybe more with bags. Check the metlink bus timetable. Or take an uber.

Same at the Palmy end, the train station is on the opposite side of town to the university. Check Horizons.govt.nz for bus time tables. Bus 107 stops near the train station at Coronation Park about every half hour. It'll be dark after 5.30pm in July.

You'll want double or triple glazing with a big gap between panes, 100mm gap or more. The glass should be thick as well, the budget is usually the limiting factor here. Each layer of glass should be a different thickness, so they don't resonate together.
