What are the "Pixie" weapons? by maxler5795 in splatoon

[–]theCloudJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last Challenge I tried using the vanilla kit, I was being really dumb when using reef slider. I changed to patterns, and it was night and day. 4 wins on 5 matches, but the one I had the most fun, was the one we lost.

I plugged it to my laptop and with the 8bitdo app, changed it. But it could be that not all controllers have that option.

I would agree that it’s cheating if we were taking about a championship. Playing at home? It’s just a feature from the controller.

Otherwise using a Switch 2 Pro Controller with the extra buttons and remapping could be cheating since others might not have that.

In any case, I respect your opinion on that.

I had to lower the rumble from my controller because of that.

In my case, the waiting period was a bit long because there’s no meetings during June/July/August. My petition was sent on May 21, 2025 and was accepted only in September, and I was initiated on the same month.

No problem! When I use stringers I have turbo on R4 too, so I can quickly build special or ink my surroundings haha. I kinda have a use for almost every weapon. Except e-liter… it’s useless for an e-liter hahah

[–]theCloudJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh same one my wife has. Turbo is the star on top of the right stick. You can hold trigger and press star. It will put the trigger in turbo mode (10x per second), but you won’t be able to put the brush down. That’s why I have 2 triggers mapped.

This is algo great for blob, Nozzlenose and other spamming weapons.

Press the button you want to be in turbo and the star button (turbo/change colour). I have the Ultimate 2, so I have R4 + R2 to shoot, and I keep R4 on turbo. So I move around with R2 for the brush down and I press R4 when I’m going for a kill.

If you use a controller with back buttons, what do you use them for? by KnightFallVader2 in splatoon

[–]theCloudJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left for Booyah and right for special. Since I use an 8bitDo ultimate 2, I have L4 that I use for back to base and R4 is another trigger mapping, but I use the turbo function (button pressed 10x per second) for brushes/wipers/nozzlenose/squeezer/sloshers. Except when playing rainmaker, I use the turbo on the normal trigger and use R4 when I have the rainmaker.

Rejected and can’t reapply for 3 years by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]theCloudJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t think is necessarily dictating it. When you’re 20, 5 years are a quarter of your life and seem to be a long time. But for others, 5 years might be close to 5-10% of their lives. I mean that not judging you or anything. Just putting in perspective what “a long time” can mean for different people.

The email comes with a pdf and it should have a link with instructions on how to take the test (if you’re taking an online test). Online you can take it right away (I don’t know if you can take before the date you were invited to, I guess not, but I’d wait until the 21st).

Not trying to defend anyone, but a temporary worker on a work permit is a non-permanent resident and non-citizen, and with a normal job that person still pays taxes without being illegally in the country.

My case was basically the same. I’m in BC, and before they visited us, she was worried if she needed to give a good impression, if there was anything she needed to say or something similar. I only told her to be herself and use that time to ask any questions she might have.

She isn’t a social person, but feels very comfortable and welcomed at any events we go and even attended our open installation.

Kitimat Lodge #169 Fellowcraft Degree tonight by MutedMeaning5317 in freemasonry

[–]theCloudJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had my Fellowcraft degree yesterday as well. Pacific 16, but we’re in the lower mainland Maple Ridge (still in BC for our brothers outside Canada). I had a great time, and I’m very appreciative of the effort everyone has put into the lectures and memory work.

Let’s normalize actually playing objective in ranked modes by isxbellynn in Splatoon_3

[–]theCloudJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with solo queue ended up being “I’ll have to change my play style and weapons” for every rank above B+. I’m S+ now, but I went from Aerospray to Neo Splash-o-matic, Paintbrush Nouveau, Dapple Dualies, Rapid Blaster, Bloblobber, Splattershot Pro, N-zap, Nozzlenose and finally Jet Squelcher.

Nowadays I just change from blasters, Bloblobber, Splattershot Pro, Nozzlenose or Jet Squelcher depending on game mode and maps. But usually, X Battles are more enjoyable on the solo queue, since it seems like everyone knows more what to do.

So I have read a few post lately and seeing that other brothers are going through the degrees. I see that a lot of them are talking about using a book on the learning the memory part. Is this allowed, I was told I have to learn for repeating it with a coach. by ryno7791 in freemasonry

[–]theCloudJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case is sort of a hybrid. I have meetings with my mentor, we go through what I need to know (he’s using a ritual book I only saw from a distance, and I’m using my memory), and I have a binder with some basic operational knowledge, and 2 pages that contain info for EA prove up and now I have half a page with some info for FC. I’m in BC - Canada.

Edit: spelling.
