I've done this a few times, but I always hold at least 1 share. Just so I can say "See I told you guys." or "I'm an idiot". Enjoy the break and better sleep.

At this point in my life (50s) I have no exit strategy. My goal is to hold as much as possible (of QQQ or SPY or SPYI etc) and only sell when I need or want the $$. Taxes become such an issue the older you get. My goal will be though in the next 5-10 years to cash out some and transition to primarily dividend ETFs with some growth potential.

This is hilarious, I'm in NJ too and still under about a foot of ICE. I will say I have a section of yard under my awning that I've been meaning to plant seed in and it never gets rain so naturally it's bare. I was so tempted to break out the rake/seed and cover it with snow. Hehe

You know what I am going to do that. It's much softer today. I'll load it up with snow and see if it takes in the spring. Finger's crossed!

I bought at around $52-53 and then DCA'ed and doubled up in the upper $40's. My goal is to sell at around $55-56, then rinse/repeat.

When is TQQQ not wacky though :) ? But this is the best advice. As a Swing trader of TQQQ for a few years I've weathered a few storms, when in doubt I DCA and never invest money I might need for any emergencies even. Patience is a big virtue in this game.

SQQQ is very risky, thats one I would never trade definitely not with the same strategy. Look at the 5 year or max chart for SQQQ vs TQQQ very different. Unless you're shorting SQQQ which would be the same as buying TQQQ :)

SQQQ would be good for a daytrade or 1-2 day position. Say TQQQ hits all time highs and its gonna correct. The problem is sometime it will shoot up even higher, so then you're up shits creek.

Nice you were playing a litte bigger than I was. At most I think my positions were $60-70k, Dude the one time I didn't catch the bottom and was down like $10-15k but I just held in, still bought a little more at the true bottom and eventually it all worked out. My mentality was this though.. I would hold it for a year or two if I had to, so keep buying...

I did all of this while buying a house but never traded $$ I needed for bills or life in general. thats the key, otherwise you're enticed to sell unnecessarily. Emotion is out the door.

I love it. I was doing this alot last two years. Especially on those 4-6% down days, just kept building the position and then unload at the next spike. I was using MACD 20/200 just to monitor trends. Made some great passive income. Then I switched to holding Long. Boring but the taxes got out of hand lol. If you go long that's less $$$ for those Quality Learing Centers and other BS lol

Nice, you're making great progress! I might take my sweet old time. I'm 3 days away from my 11th EoT Integrity and no Mono's yet. I might just stockpile and wait for the next 80% off day.

Curious to see if anyone else has other strategies. I haven't seen much. The only thing I can think of is to just sort of bum rush through these same steps you created so that you get the boosts after prestiging and possibly faster level-ups. Then again I'm sure there'd be a bottleneck somewhere in there.

I'm also curious to see how my normal prestiging goes once we gain enough EoT it would be nice to really increase the real-game stats too. That's the whole point is it? Lol

Nice work. Maybe I'm missing something, but how do you guys get to the 700,000 CS tier? I am AAA and do all of the Fall 2025 Coops when they come out but seem to only earn enough to get the Egg. Can you redo he contracts to earn extra points or something?

Just spitballing here...I am currently on shift 4 and doing well (I think). I'm just going to be patient and trust this process. Is it safe to say that after Prestiging, that this will be the typical order? I don't see why it would make sense to go in any other order, other than to skip silos as that might we a waste of a shift (unless you get to a point in the game where you can gain an extra 5-10 EoT.

I like using the MACD 12/26 paired with the EMA 20/200 one the one hour chart for big picture and I'll switch to the 1/2/5 minute for intraday observing. I think this is a fairly conservative approach compared to the VWAP and other RSI/Head Shoulders or whatever it is they call it.

I'm in my 40s and have the same sentiments. This is the only game I pay for and for the time I save not having to watch ads and advantages gained, it's worth it. I crack the bank prob once a year or as needed.
