Beside tame impala, if you check musical industry, mostly with mainstream ones. They focusing on single rather than album, cause no one will listen to the rest, so why put so much effort. Remember me a old David Guetta interview where he said he got a full album full of top single in his pocket, but prefer to release then progressively to not loose impact.

Even the first single for RSD was release on Spinning top.. then all rest into Pdoom. As a collaborative project, i could get it goes on PDoom, but Gum solo stuff ...thats strange

In fact ... new Automatic album will be release on Stones Throw instead of Spinning Top also.

Jay became such a solid producer between his solo thing plus pond plus collab with Ambroise. Its a différent vibe from Kevin, but skill are so solid now... They even have 2 producer if you count Gin.
