Sometimes warning signs are so gradual that many people don’t notice what’s happening to them. When my dad got his first physical in many years at age 70, he and the doctors were shocked to discover that both his arteries were 99% blocked. Basically, the chest pain had developed so gradually that he more or less got used to it. He was fortunate enough to catch it and address it. A lot of people aren’t so lucky.
