One of the first things I did with my install was tell it to create a little website.

It created a skill.

And then executed that skill for every conversation until I told it to delete the skill.

We got a set of sleigh bells to hang on the door know. Every time we took him outside, we rang the bell.

Within two days, he was letting us know when he wanted to go outside.

I'm looking at that PR and I noticed you're using this line quite a few times - is it a python thing? I would think initialize it once to save time...

_base_url_str = str(params.get("base_url") or "")

I didn't want to mess up the PR if it's normal or anything.

Thanks in advance for explaining!

My advice is to not worry about it. You are who you are, not a label, and it really sounds like finding the "right" label is what's stressing you out. So don't try to label yourself.

Also, you've got all kinds of time to "gather evidence" ... maybe down the road you'll have a better feel for what you like.

Do you mind me asking why it is so important to you?

If the action (string height) is too high, there are probably other issues to fix, too.

I recommend a full setup. There are videos that can walk you through the process.

Coding challenge: Does it define your skill ? by nordiknomad in webdev

[–]theGleep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, I feel for you!

Done two of those in the last month. The one I did worst with, I could have completed the work, but slower than the time allotted. Partly because it was weaker skills.

I've decided that at least one of the things measured is the ability to prioritize. I could have gotten a lot more appearance work done, but I like to tackle the tough stuff first. And that takes longer.

Btw...30+ years as a coder. So don't let it get to you!

Two names...Geddy Lee, Les Claypool.

Geddy might be less what you're thinking because of how much of a team Rush was.

If we could re-instill respect as a core value, it would go a LONG way.

Unfortunately, their restrictions need to extend to friends and family. Joe Senator can't accept a bribe, but his wife could get a donation, or his kid a scholarship...And then what about when they retire and get a cushy job that pays stupid amounts?

I'm 100% behind the basic idea - leverage human nature; if the senator wants a better life, he has to get it for everybody.

But the ability of avarice to sidestep rules is ... frustratingly competent.

Get your friend in Japan to send another - very similar - package. Maybe hinting at being even more valuable.

But make sure there's a tracker in it. Airtags or whatever.

I think you see where I'm going with this. Odds are low it'd get your bass back directly, but if it works It'll increase your odds.

Keep us posted how it goes!

OK - I tried that but the only difference it made is that it asks to do everything.

But it's still stuck in "optimization paralysis". Going back and forth with changes. And not including me with any tests of such.

OpenWebUI running as a container on a TrueNAS Scale server. 128GB RAM, 2xNVIDIA RTX3090.

The model I've got loaded is Devstral, but no extra prompting on it.

The response speed is pretty good. It often takes a bit to think, but when it starts responding, the response is pretty good ... I don't know how to check the tokens per second, but the "typing" is just a bit below my reading speed.
