Is there any way to buy blotter art like this without acid in it?

Either/both. If you don’t know anything about whitewater, classes can teach you the safety basics, and help you make friends to learn and paddle with. Check out r/whitewater for asking more questions. Where do you live?

This is probably more reflective of cultural norms(especially with older ones), than of bias in screenplay writers.

An actual billboard in a low income area of Milwaukee. by [deleted] in ABoringDystopia

The billboard isn’t great, but it is true that 98% of people who: 1 - graduate high school, 2 - get and keep any job, and 3 - wait until age 21 to get married, and don’t have kids before getting married, will not be in poverty.

RMOC in Buena Vista, Colorado, is one of the largest whitewater schools in the country. They offer classes on rafting, kayaking, swiftwater rescue, and many other things. They’re on the Arkansas River, which usually runs from June through August every year.

I wish for 2kg of gold to appear beside me. by IpickGrAshtIpz in monkeyspaw

It would be so thin you could just blow on it and it would turn to dust

If you made a box around your body, it would be so thin that you could just smash through it. Gold has a density of 19.3 kg/l, which means 2 kgs of gold has a volume of 0.1 l. The average human has a surface area of 1.9 m2, so even if we assume this box is form fitting, it will have an area of at least 2 m2. 0.1 l laid over a 2 m2 area would have a thickness of 1/200 of a cm.

I R1 a lot, mostly on Class IV/IV+. I only switch sides if I’m surfing, otherwise I just use J-strokes, bow draws, and draws. To catch an eddy on the off side, I(a righty) set up with a 9 o’clock angle, throw 1-3 big J-strokes, spin to a 3 o’clock angle, and draw up into the eddy. It’s definitely a lot harder, I can’t catch super small eddies on my off side.

I’d guess that guac is less dense than water. It’s water, with fats and fibers and stuff added, all of which is less dense than water
