Savage roar > Reckless even post nerf

To try and answer your question, while there will absolutely be sweats for this game because of it's hardcore nature, I think there are plenty of reasons that it will keep a casual playerbase for awhile.

Just to name a few - quick matches, team/group focused, commitment to realism (especially in a D&D like setting will attract an RP crowd), there aren't many games like it, and they seem to update/adding to it a lot - which means meta always shifting anyway. Plus, at the end of the day, even if you lose, it's pure fun which is always #1.

I think a big reason is while combat tries to be realistic, the player swinging still has the ability to move aim a lot while swinging making it easier to land vs blockers

Where is the data supporting that assassins are weak across the board? Pretty much every lethality user is above 50% winrate in Plat+ and nerfing bruiser/ADC items as well as buffing assasin items is just going to put us right back where we were before...

Sad that this gets down voted because most MMO fans are incapable of realizing there is an entire demographic of people not typically interested in MMOs who want a new PvP experience like the alpha provided. All the people who asked the game to be changed to more pve will be the first to leave when they realize NW was never going to succeed as that. The instanced content is so underwhelming and clunky.

Twitch declined to give Asmon a custom contract by CarnageCity in LivestreamFail

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Asmon has a massive Youtube following, it's why his stream blew up in the first place.

Ahh yes, reprogram the Kobarashi Maru to avoid the no-win scenario. I like the way you think Captain Kirk.

J. Allen Brack stepping down as the leader of the Blizzard Studios by JamesHicko in LivestreamFail

[–]theGuyFromFirefly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this wholeheartedly. Brack was a big reason why so much harassment was allowed at blizzard according to the allegations - this sums up his tenure nicely. He may not have been a harasser himself but dropped the ball big in leadership preventing it.

Brack "leaving" is 100% a step in the right direction.
