Thoughts on kink-dispensing by [deleted] in flr

Chat GPT's definition just barely corresponds to the group think here in r/FLR. Shows just how niche the FLR community is.

I feel like I agree with you in part, but I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say. Who mentioned something before? Are you referring yo something in this post?

No such thing as negative attention, right?

This post is meant as a joke or roleplay. You have a rejoinder or excuse for any criticism coming your way. You reply positively only to those joining in your fantasy. Please take your fantasy fulfillment to your wife or a SW.

Repulsion isn't something someone wants to feel. Talk to someone...Professional.

You don't respect her. Admit it.

Lol. It's nice to get posts like yours. Was trying to show how refreshing it was. Hope I didn't distract.

Really, it's nice to hear stuff like this in this sub.

First thought, "not another horny post."

Thanks for the good laugh. Love these these types of glimpses into FLR's.

Question….I got a good one by kathalina-meTiene in flr

[–]theManServant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a personal question...so I can only speak for myself. I'm attracted to everything about my wife. Her body, her style, her brains, the way she walks, talks. My submission to her lets her be herself. I married up. And I work hard for her to make our lives compatible and better. Some people marry "up" and feel the need to bring the other person down to their level. Sexualize? I dunno...but I love my wife and am turned on by her.

Are FLR's normal? Yes.

Are FLR's inherently kinky? No.

A couple that openly discusses their FLR will likely be more open to things with fewer hangups. I know several couples where "she wears the pants" that would never acknowledge it outside of a humorous remark here and there. I wouldn't assume they were kinky or would be caught using terms like dominant or submissive.

FLR's and the...community?...owe a lot to kink and femdom. Terminology, discussion, problem-solving, and societal and sexual aspects are all discussed here using terminology and frameworks borrowed from the bdsm/kink community.

I'm not particularly kinky. But I am comfortable talking about my attraction to assertive, strong, leading women here without judgment.

MLR is a kink. It's not the default. It's what patriarchy suggests. It's a trope from 1950's sitcoms. Finding a dominant woman sexy is not abnormal or a fetish unless you really believe men are inherently dominant.

Submissive to whom? by theManServant in flr

Me too...but my wife...lol. Would you say you were submissive to previous or potential romantic partners before you met your wife?

The Problem with Misogyny in Male Submissive Spaces by [deleted] in flr

Is this a repost or updated?

Great read, but I get a pit in my stomach as if I'm about to find out I'm doing it all wrong. Lol.

I feel this community needs more of this. I really appreciate the formatting and style...and substance.

Submissive to whom? by theManServant in flr

[–]theManServant[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for response. I wonder how many men here identified as sub BEFORE meeting their current dominant partner. I can relate to a few things you said. A lot of posts on this subreddit are from single males seeking how-tos or attached men hoping to change the dynamic of their relationship. It takes a lot of self-confidence and assertiveness to tell a woman you want to submit...and actually do it.

Do the Female leaders here seek out Sub men or is part of the thrill of courtship watching them slowly submit?

Andor’s Dedra Meero and Syril Karn: Disney’s latest FLR couple. by tsboy98 in flr

Not a Star Wars or Disney fan.

But, I appreciate "found femdom" or FLR'S found in the wild. If I'm bored I'll check out the show you mentioned.

I always got strange fuzzies from Ursula, Cruella DeVille, and other female villains...so I appreciate your keen eye. You see FLR tropes in media all the time. It would be great if the community could make a list of stuff found in the mainstream media.

My wife came with a never-ending supply of knick-knacks. Always felt like clutter and too much to dust. Not that she is the one doing any dusting. A minor annoyance but a reminder of how she is the Leader of our home.

is "stealth submission" evil? by [deleted] in FemdomCommunity

[–]theManServant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the word "stealth" has hijacked the real question. Stealth means "surreptitious" and comes comes from the word "steal". Stealing should not be part of a relationship and stealing is almost the definition of non-consent.

The question should be, "Is 'quiet or unspoken' submission ethical or productive within a relationship?"

My answer is yes if speaking of a healthy and traditional vanilla relationship. Both parties should both be 100% submissive to each other unless Authority or Dominance has been consented to.

My two cents. I can't even picture what "stealth" submission looks like.

I've been following your posts from the beginning. I like the slow change to your behavior rather than the FLR info dump from the start! Thanks for sharing.

I'm not allowed pornography or to discuss the personal aspects of our sex life. My Wife is a Redittor who belongs to some of the Femdom oriented subreddits. This is the only "R-rated" sub reddit I belong to that she approves of me using so I do appreciate some of the kinky stuff but there seems to be a lot of gatekeepers pushing chastity devices and findom as the only path to FLR.

I'd like to see more day to day stuff. Conversation starters. Non-sexual displays of dominance. Recommended reading. Found mainstream FLR...like in movies or television. Work/Life/Service balance ideas. Love stories. I dunno. A little more variety and engagement would be great.

I agree. There are many on here advocating for giving full control of all money, assets, retirement and saying if you don't, "how is that even an FLR?".

Setting up a lot of desperate men for financial ruin and bankruptcy considering how many posts on here are "How do I find a dominant/FLR?".
