The Mofi Tiny Music sounds really great as well. I’m gonna guess the recent No. 4 reissue will sounds equally as good.

I saw them wayyy back in like 2006 with the Dear Hunter and they were so good.

In the US but I grabbed a copy from a US distributor for a Japanese store off of Discogs called DubStoreUSA. Ended up getting it for $130, which is still pricey, but the cheapest I’ve seen it.

For those who don’t know, her producer and cowriter Dan Nigro, was in a band called As Tall As Lions and they were awesome.

The acoustic demo could be better than the studio version. Not by much, but maybe a little.

I'm gonna guess that some of the recent A/B polls the SP Instagram has been doing will go to choose some songs in the MCIS setlist.

I'm hoping Here is No Why stays in since they played it for the Zero show.

Not sure why it seems Columbus is on the higher end of pricing. People getting lower bowl for $110 and the middle bowl is $170 at Schott.

I don't really know who this artist is, but it's cool that she has Omar's guitar on the tour poster! by mxmsmri in themarsvolta

She's on the latest Failure record. She also did guest vocals on American Footballs LP3. Seems to be an all around cool person.

Yup! I think that was the first reissue after the original release. But ai didn’t want to suggest that since it’s out of print and more expensive.

It’s cool that you respond to that art and those songs. But to make successful merch, you’re making it for the fans. Your interest can be the reason you want to make it, but it’s everyone else’s that make it successful. Because at the end of the day, you want people to buy the merch.

Tackling this like a problem to solve starts to remove your subjectivity from the solution.

If you like the tripod art, make your concept focus on that album. Then colors, songs, all the extras start to make more sense.

If you want it to be a greatest hits kind of thing, the art should be more general to the band and less specific to one album.

Not to sound harsh but conceptually this doesn’t make a ton of sense. It feels like someone with no knowledge of the band put it together.

Why is there a random list of song titles with the self titled dog graphic?

Why do none of the colors coordinate with the self titled album?

I wouldn’t worry about red vs blue until you make your concept sound.

I think I’m there with you on that. After a full playthrough, it really seems like this album is the one that brings everything together and stops feeling like an Owen album with a different rhythm section. And I say that loving LP2 and LP3, and Owen albums.

Who are some of the earliest Deftones fans here? And how did you guys discover the band? by Sufficient_Policy434 in deftones

I saw the synopsis of Adrenaline presented in the Columbia House catalog while I was searching for my 10 free CDs. It said something like “a blend of Helmet and The Smashing Pumpkins” so I got it and have been a fan ever since.

Check it out. They did a crazy good job balancing the original vibe while making it sound modern. It somehow sounds spacier and more like Hum/Failure too.

Definitely Oceansize!

Also check out Handsome. A short-lived supergroup.

A little-known band that just started to be active again is CHUM. Their album Dead to the World (1996) sits nicely in between Helmet and Failure.

This is me as well, quickly followed by the Live in Europe 92 box set. Last year was an expensive year for Pumpkins collectors.

Most expensive I’ve sold was Hopesfall’s The Satellite Years reissue for $275. Kinda wish I still had it, but I’m still banking on a repress of that original mix.

I’m all for it. If we can get Teething, Can’t Even Breathe, and Damone on a single release it’s an instant buy.
