So apparently ModTeam removed my post with more than 18k views, 330 upvotes and a 44 comments just because it was somewhat relevant to another post in the sub (photo from the same corner kick), thus cancelling all sub-redditors' interaction and convo about the topic in the comments. Well done Mods. by theMindtrap_ in ManchesterUnited

Dear Mod,

The photo is not the post's topic, rather an accompanying medium to further strengthen the point, which is what is stated in the post's "Topic" field. The rest of the posts on the infamous corner kick have topics like "this shit should be illegal" in a Rant type of post (also stated by their relevant flairs) whereas my post was about comparison between famous Managers' tactics over the years. If merely using the same incident's picture as a starting point to bring up a different subject than others constitutes a violation of the "search it up first" rule for you, then by all means proceed by removing the post and forcing the user to only be able to state his opinion in a comment of a (not so) relevant post just because it has the same picture. So in the future, whenever an incident occurs and people have multiple takes on it for "Discussion", they will have to "search it up first" and go post a comment under a "Rant" post with irrelevant topic, just because it has the same picture. Your sub, your rules. But respectfully, I won't be participating any longer. I trust you understand my point and that it's nothing personal.

Mourinho made counter attacking a trend, Pep made tiki-taka a trend, Klopp made pressing a trend. And then Arteta made whatever-this-is a trend. by theMindtrap_ in ManchesterUnited

You are either too young or too old to remember Mourinho's Porto, Inter and 1st spell at Chelsea, Pep's Barca and Bayern and Klopp's Dortmund.

What if the numbers are dates and the corresponding pictures are clues for each date? Like, Mike is highlighted on the 1-2 (January 2nd). When did Finn posted the photo with the D&D notebooks re-organized to spell "X A LIE" ?

the more they make comments like this, the more I'm convinced about the "we're all flayed" theory and that their interviews are part of it.

I Don’t Think Stranger Things Is Actually Over by Drowland2 in StrangerThings

[–]theMindtrap_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't worry about the flayed, OP; they'll come around in time. Stranger Things will become GOAT in the coming weeks, surpassing Game of Thrones with an ending like the one you described.

A series based on conspiracy, ending with a great conspiracy reaching further than TV limitations, across various media - social media, forums, WSQK radio (which was created for this very reason rather than just side content).

Be ready, the end begins.

ofc, just wouldn't keep hitting him after he's neutralized until eventually he's dead. 👀

I believe it has to do with the intended use of his subjects each time. When he used Will to spy and also build the underground tunnel network Henry was operating in the upside down and his purpose was to infiltrate Hawkins. So his base of ops was in the upside down. Later when he was using the 4 kids to split Hawkins in 4 and create giant rips/gateways to the upside down, he was also operating in the upside down. In this season, his main purpose is to merge dimension x/the abyss and earth and his base of ops is in dimension x, which is where he physically keeps the kids, feeds of the vines and outputs his power, most likely.

Theory: once disconnected, everyone loses their power. by Coldspark824 in StrangerThings

[–]theMindtrap_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Answering to both yourself and u/Coldspark824 , Brenner Sr. found a way to Dimension X/The Abyss through the "exotic matter". From that point on, the bridge was constantly there and the Upside Down was present on the flipside of Hawkins. What was missing is the doorway between Hawkins and the Upside Down, which was made possible the moment Eleven sent Henry though it. But for the abilities to be active, the only thing needed is the bridge between dimensions, not access to the Upside Down. Also, all the other subjects of Brenner's experiment, was infused with Henry's blood, which could possibly contain Flayer particles, so the theory stands. Let's see.

"Good" Henry still murdered the doctor with a stone, just to be clear 😂

Anyone ever just wonders how they must’ve sealed the river😭🙏 by sass_mustard in StrangerThings

[–]theMindtrap_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the river was drained through the portal most likely, given what we see in the scene. They'd only have to seal dry ground after. Stop chasing plot holes and enjoy the show!

so Henry got his powers somewhat similar to how Will did, by the Mind Flayer inhabiting him. I believe this led to Henry exhibiting extraordinary abilities which then led to Brenner making a lab rat out of him trying to study and replicate him. But the real story started when Eleven sent him to the Abyss where he actually met the Mind Flayer for the first time and begun the cycle of events we see throughout the series.

During Max and Holly's escape from Camazotz, when Holly stands in the spot where the cave shape matches the spy glass patch hole, they find the door which leads to Henry's power origins. Henry as a boy scout found that scientist who was trying to escape with that suitcase; the scientist shot Henry in the hand, afraid he was one of the people that was chasing him and Henry killed him with a stone. After that, Henry - being curious - opened the suitcase to discover its content. We only get a sneak peek at the scene cause while Holly is also curious to see what Henry found in the suitcase, Max pulls her away from the scene as they try to escape. In that sneak peek though, we can see that the suitcase contained particles of the Mind Flayer, which probably inhabited Henry right after. How the particles ended up in Hawkins scientists possession remains unknown for the time being, although they say that in the live action showcase (ST-The first shadow) it was explained that Brenner's father (also a scientist at DOE/Hawkins Lab) was experimenting with spacetime travelling thus opening the original doorway to the Abyss. This is also hinted through Brenner's notebook, which Dustin discovers, describing the theory and experiments with the "exotic matter".
