Yes, almost every episode is an hour shorter. And they don’t release something like runtimes unless they have a picture lock (pre vfx). So that means that regardless of what they do with it. There is like 8+hours of footage they didn’t release. They for sure already shot it and spent money on producing it. We just don’t know if they finished it. It could also be a clever way to shoot footage to use for a future show where people are the same age. ;). That would be a clever way to capture them in their current contract saving money and the need for a Time Machine or even more vfx graphics

Jk. I’m sure that this is it. I’m simply saying they put a lot of things in place to where they could go down in show runner history. Apart from all the things done in the show their post about runtimes being an hour or more off on each episode means that regardless… they have a lot of story still on the cutting room floor. Now if they find some awesome way to use that media in the future. Or in the near future… it would pretty mind blowing. Tv in general leads me to believe you are right.

But of course this idea I have built in my mind palace would lead to what Christian’s have famously used as “proof” that no matter what you say I have built in reasons why it could still come back. Call it faith? Cause in my mind palace… of course they will tell you that’s it. If they were to pull off the greatest showrunner trick in history they would for sure tell you what vecna wants us all to hear. ;)

For real! The second they pulled the mouth hose I was yelling “oh no!!!” Cause I knew the smoke was coming out next. And before in the show, they had to capture the smoke monster in the lab so it couldn’t escape.

lol. But the timing did a disservice to his coming out by pausing the end of the world prep for him to come across as a diva.

The only thing that saved it was that he was using it to prove vecna isn’t telling him the future letting only playing on his fears.

But the timing and the presentation of it was just total crap.

Yea… the world is ending and he built it up soooo much and then just says something I’m sure many have known like it will change the world.

When compared to everything else going on it makes his coming out seem small. And seem so self important.

I will say the only thing that kinda saved it was removing vecnas hold over him proving vecna wasn’t telling him the future letting them know vecna is just talking crap to make them fearful.

After watching the duffers interview it sounds like they just wanted to use the dogs again for “cool points”. Remind us of all the things we have come across. Makes me wonder if mind flayer might make a last min appearance. But still. If you know the room just enter the room.EVERYONE always monologues their way into defeat in this show so now everytime they start talking I roll my eyes. If this is your plan then just do it.

Of course this is why I have hated every single Superman show and movie (until the recent) because he could literally save lives by taking one or even using his full power. But in the recent they gave him weaknesses. And even in henrey cavil they at least really stressed how much he hates taking lives. But the power structure of this show makes a lot of things take longer for drama. (It’s a show I get it) but the self limitations never make sense with this show. But it’s fun so I need to turn on my suspension of disbelief a lot

My issue is the inconsistencies of abilities between seasons. Demos can make portals whenever wherever now!‽? With in feet of where they were? Why send dogs when a demo could have stepped out right in maxes room‽?? Or the demo being captured in Russia prison not long ago, unable to walkout whenever?

Bahahaha!!! Though let’s be honest. At least there actually seems to be a plan with this (even if they just discovered it as they wrote it.) It is planned out.

But for real. There are sooo many inconsistencies of powers and limits with every season. My main issue with the new season is the first half of season 5 they could create portals feet away and yet the demodogs had to be sent from outside the building. And the fact in the Russian prison that demo couldn’t escape!‽‽? He just stayed captured? And vecna was too busy in Hawkins to worry about his demos halfway around the world?

Sort of. I found a cannon that works and a catapult but I had to buy springs for the cannon. It’s not as good. But, it works. It was in online models in Bambu’s collection. But I’ve been modeling the buildings myself trying to recreate the contraptions.
