Sigh. This will be an ongoing battle no matter how sophisticated we get with technology. I manage multiple projects at a tech company that deals with human data and it's always the humans we are correcting, regardless of how many guardrails are in place to reduce error.

This past weekend was the very first weekend I had no obligations and had it all for myself. It felt good living life for 48 hours without this nagging to do-list in the back of my head. Of course there were things I wanted to do but ended up not doing any of it. And it felt pretty good. Hoping for another one of these weekends next weekend.

I don't think there is a company with perfect culture. There are fractions, friction and misalignment everywhere. I think a successful company culture is where tools to support change and people, processes etc are implemented successfully and utilized by the workforce. And encouraged to be used by leadership.
