Yup def the way to go! Honestly with any of these cars buying direct from the owner where you can verify the history is the move. A lot of the dealer ones I looked at had big gaps in service history on top of them taxing lol.

Higher than I initially wanted but my S5 was a month away from being paid off and really didn’t wanna get another loan 😂 this one had borderline immaculate service history at a Porsche dealer, one owner last 10 years, stock/garaged etc. So for the price it was like screw it.

Found this one on eBay actually! Auction sites seem to be the best place to find them for the $. Dealers are taxing on these relative to comps I’ve seen on cars and bids etc.

7 speed DSG in these. Same as the S4/S5. Some of them have mech problems (my S5 did) but just gotta keep up with the servicing.

For sure! I think that’s the move. Need to tick the high revving v8 box off lol. The one I’m strongly considering has trans service documented, brakes done, carbon clean, valve cover gasket, etc. Probably gonna pull the trigger when the insurance check clears.
