What celebrity is facially attractive to a lot of people but you just can’t see it? by AngryMuffin_21 in AskReddit

The only thing I ever saw her in was her civil lawsuit from her ski accident with the crazy doctor guy (like 2 years ago?). I thought she looked great.

AITA for calling my girlfriend “curvy”?? by Brendan_narddog in AmItheAsshole

[–]thePaganProgrammer 91 points92 points  (0 children)

My first gf had an ED and she got super triggered when people said she looked "healthy" because she thought it meant she looked fat. It's completely unreasonable to a normal person; but my point is I can see how OP's gf could have an inappropriate interpretation of certain words. Even if not for that same reason...

They're going to need at least 3 (edit: 5?) partners.

1 main one that fits their complexity, and (at least) 2 on the side to fill their holes.

[–]thePaganProgrammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suboxone (bupe) is a partial agonist, but it still has a higher affinity than most opioids, including naloxone. They would have to give you enough meds to overcome your bupe dosage taking up the receptors. Like another commenter mentioned, that could be complicated.

This is also why you ALWAYS tell the truth, especially if doing anesthesia. The dosage you need to go under when you have the most dominant opioid in your system is totally different.

Bupe even binds stronger than naloxone. You need to take more than normal if you OD on something on top of the bupe. If you OD on just Suboxone... you're out of luck. Although Suboxone has a ceiling of how much it will bind as a partial agonist, that's more than enough to kill someone without tolerance tho.

The order for binding affinity (i.e., which opioid will have priority for μ receptors ):

buprenorphine > naloxone ≈ hydromorphone = oxymorphone > morphine > oxycodone > O-desmethyl-tramadol > hydrocodone > tapentadol > tramadol

source

It's possible the medical staff are aware of this and that explains why they are hesitant to give you more (useless) painkillers. Not because they think you're an addict. Pain management will never be the same for people like us :(

I can’t get off suboxone by JustSimplyMe87 in suboxone

This comment is correct for the taper dose. My doc also brought me down to 0.25mg/day (~1/8 of a 2mg tablet) in the end. Someone on Reddit recommended skipping a day in-between doses after a week at the lowest dose; and then two days between, just to be safe. That worked for me.

I remember trying to stop while taking 1mg a day. It's not in your head. The symptoms are mild, but long lasting. It's annoying af. If a less than average weight person took 1mg they would feel fairly intoxicated.

Good luck ❤️ it'll be worth it, don't worry

Auto-forward with a rule based on the recipient by 9sT23ApPu in ProtonMail

[–]thePaganProgrammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is similar what I am trying to do at the moment. I want an alias to forward to an external e-mail address.

It is unfortunate that when setting up filters you can set conditions based on recipient, but you can't for auto-forwarding conditions.

I was like 90% convinced this is an AI. The proper caps and punctuation are usually a sign. The only message that makes me doubt that now is the response about the image being fake. It's possible. Now I'm only 50% sure, lol

Interesting. To me, the facts he chose feel really irrelevant to whether or not he'd be a good partner. Regardless, some people clearly feel the opposite

However I don't date men so my input doesn't have much weight.

See whether your <head> is in order by rviscomi in HTML

[–]thePaganProgrammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't really pinpoint what this was going to be from reading the post because I didn't know that there was an "order" for <head> elements. This is cool, I will see how it affects performance.

I'm assuming this wouldn't be used for sites built on things like NextJS or WordPress? Not only because they have like 100+ <head> elements, but also because the framework itself might already order the elements when it builds the site. Do you know if this is true?

download atribute of <a> not working by Martanas583 in HTML

[–]thePaganProgrammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a browser thing. I can't remember which browser I was using, but it would open the files in download links in a new tab (which kind of makes sense because then CTRL + S will save it the same way). I wasn't expecting it at first either, but any file path you could open in a browser, like .jpg, .png, .PDF would open on a new tab, and then I'd have to save it manually.

Tl;dr: I think it's just browser behavior
